Chapter 21

Averys POV
The next day Riley helps me finish packing.
  "I thought you had to leave yesterday? I asked him
"Well I was supposed to but I have nothing planned to do. I was just going to go home and rest but I'm resting here." He replied
"Well alright then" I said as I taped a box shut

We worked for a little while and the I decided to call me landlord and told her I would be leaving tomorrow and I wouldn't be back.
   After we got the extra bathroom and kitchen packed we went to my room and started in my closet.

"You know my house only really has some furniture in it. If you stay with me you can bring your kitchen things for us to use" Riley said

"Yeag I could. But I'm not sure where I will be staying" I said knowing he really wants me t o stay with him

" I haven't really stayed in it much. I've been on the road so much" he said and I just nodded

"Oh my gosh you still have these?!" Riley asked shocked that I had all of our matching Halloween costumes in a box in my closet

"Yeah I have just about everything we have exchanged over the years" I said

"I just can't believe that you saved it all" he said

"Well I mean considering you were literally my other half growing up I couldn't see myself getting rid of the this stuff." I said

We were almost done packing up my closet when Riley said
"Umm Av.. where do you want this?" I looked over to see him holding some lingerie
I jerked it out of his hand turning red.
"I have never even worn this. I don't know why I bought them" I told him honestly
  "Josh and I never did anything. I told
Him I wanted to wait for marriage and he was gone all the time anyways so we never got a chance to" I said putting them in the give away pile

"You need to keep them you'll use them someday" he said laughing

"Yeah I'll use them when I die alone" thinking about the time we said if we weren't married by 32 we would marry each other.

We danced and sang, laughed and talked whole packing my room and my bathroom

" so what time do you want to leave tomorrow? He asked

"Early but not too early" I said
"I'm sleeping in" he said
"Okay so about 8:00? You do know it's a long drive" i said
"Sounds good" he replied

"So they stuff that won't fit in my car we can table today to get it shipped." I said

"I have a better idea" he said "how about let's rent a U haul? It wi be cheaper and you will have all your things together."

"That's a smart idea! Let's go." I said grabbing my purse and heading out the door

We made it back home and start packing some things into the uhaul. 

"Are you leaving?" I heard a voice behind me

I turned to see josh.. "yeah I'm going home to Alabama"
"Oh okay...." He trailed off as he walked into his apartment

"What are you doing?!?!" Loni yells as she comes into my apartment

"I'm packing up. I'm going home to Alabama. I'm leaving in the morning. I will go buy a house sos you can come live with me. Just say the word and I will" I told her.

"Harris will you help me?" Riley asked him

They walked off

"Sooo where have y'all been?"I asked her
" we were back at my place" Loni said getting all red in the face
