Chapter 38

Today is September 3rd

I am in Cali today because tonight is the 1st game of the season. And I'm dating the team captain so I had to come see him play!

I'm currently sitting in the stands with Caden mom Jill and his father Dann (idk his name) and coopers fiancé Kenna
Caden had asked me to bring my camera and take some pictures so I did. I brought my zoom lens so I can get up close and personal.

Caden is 54 and his brother cooper is 55

I haven't seen or heard from Riley since the night at my house back in may.

"Hey I'm going to walk down to get a drink do y'all want anything?" Kenna asked me and Jill

"Yeah I'll go with you" I replied

"I just want a Diet Coke please" Jill answered

Kenna and I walked down to the concession stand
"So you and Caden huh? Y'all are finally a thing now" she said making me smile

"Yeah we are. I'm so happy with him. He's the best" I said to her

We made small talk then headed back to our seats. Just as we sat down they were about to come out.

Caden's team won 67-14

He came running off the field towards me with his arms open wide and his helmet in his hands.

He wrapped his arms around me picking me up kissing me as we spun around.

"Congratulations! You played a great game." I said to him as he put me down

"Thank babe" he said kissing me cheek

He talked and hugged his parents and Kenna

Afterwards we went out to eat at some big restaurant that Caden and cooper really like.

"Okay since we are all here, I would like to say something." Cooper stated drawing everyone's attention to him.

"Kenna and I have found a place here. Since she is graduating in December she will be moving here until I finish college next year. We move in in 2 weeks" he said

Everyone congratulated them

"No you can't leave me all alone. I'll get scared" Caden joked

"You have Avery now" coop said

"Yeah sometimes when she's actually here" Caden joked again as he put his hand on my thigh.
That sent chills all over my body. Honestly I wanted him so bad but he wants to wait for marriage. And I really love him I think I can wait too. But I needed to calm myself.

"Excuse me I will be right back" I said excusing myself to the restroom

As I was washing my hands Jill came walking into the bathroom. 
"look Avery. I just want to say thank you for taking care of my boy. I haven't seen him this happy in a long time. Please don't hurt him" She said

"You're welcome. You don't have to worry. I won't hurt him. I think I'm starting to love him..." I said

"He loves you. Im his mama I can tell" she said

Caden and I have spent months together. We haven't been more the 6 days apart. We have both fallen deeply inlove. He graduates in may and will be applying for jobs in TN and live with me for a while.
He has been staying at my house on his weeks or days out of school and I have been at his when I'm off.

Thanksgiving day

Today Caden and I are hosting thanksgiving at my home in Nashville. My family, Caden's family and the green family are coming. The greens are pretty much family we have always had thanksgiving and a Christmas together.
Loni and Harris were here too.
