Chapter 19: Finally over

I crawled into my tent and slipped on a pair a PJ pants real quick. I left Johnny's sweat shirt on though. I spread the fuzzy blanket over us and cuddled in. Johnny opened his eyes and looked straight into mine. "Yourebeautifulkissme." he said.

"What?" I said giggling. He sighed and cupped my face and kissed me. My stomach welled up with butterflies and I smiled through the whole thing. What started out as a kiss turned into us making out for the next 15 minutes. When we finally stopped he hugged me tight. I put my arms around him and sighed.

"What's wrong?" He asked in a few minutes. I was too exhausted to respond so I just shook my head. He sighed and closed his eyes. Soon enough, we were asleep.

I was woken up by someone shaking me. "What do you want Two-bit!?" I groaned.

"Steve and Dally are snoring and it's keeping me up." he whined. "Can I stay with you?" He sounded like a little kid and it made me giggle a little bit.

"Yeah. Just lay down and don't touch my butt!" I joked whisper yelling.

"Who's touching your butt?" Johnny asked not opening his eyes. He sounded so tired.

"Shh. Nobody. Two-bit is just a big baby so he's staying in here." I pecked his lips. "Go back to sleep."

He didn't object to that direction. He rolled over and went to sleep.

"Come here big baby!" I said to Two-bit and he laid down next to me. I threw him my other fuzzy blanket and smiled. "I wuv you Keith."

"Shut up." He said and rolled over.

My eyes shot open. Damn that dream. I leaned over Johnny and grabbed a water bottle. I chugged pretty much the whole thing and laid back down. Two-bit rolled over. "You okay?" He said groggily.

"Yeah. Just that dream again." I sighed. He put his arm out and I rested my head on his chest. He kissed the top of my head and we fell back asleep.

CLANK! CLANK! CLANK! CLANK! Two-bit, Johnny, and I groaned and looked out the tent flap. "Rise and shine! Everyone up!" Darry was yelling and hitting pots together. Both me and Two-bit chucked our pillows at his head. "Watch it." He said glaring at me and Two. "Everyone pack up! We're moving camp today!!" Darry said. Ponyboy's birthday was in two days so it was the second part of our trip. We packed up the truck and started driving. Everyone in the same seats. Sheela and I sat in our sleeping bags next to each other and eventually fell asleep with our heads rested on each other.
****PONYBOYS POV****
Sheela looked like an angel sleeping. She was shivering so I took off my sweatshirt and put that over her. I looked at Johnny and he was sleeping too. Then there was Two-bit. Filling Clover's hand with whipped cream and tickling her nose with her own hair. All of a sudden she threw herself toward him smearing whipped cream all over his face. "HAHAHAHA!!!" She belted out. When she lurched forward Sheela had fallen over so she was sitting up now. I waved my hand over and she scooted over and put her head in my lap. I played with her perfect blonde hair while she went back to sleep. Neither one of us got much sleep last night. I'd stayed up reading to her pretty much the whole night. Two-bit was wiping the whipped cream off and chuckling. Johnny was awake now and laughing with him. I couldn't help but smile. Sheela finally woke up and we had Darry blast the music. We sang and danced and laughed just as we had before on our way down. We finally stopped and set up camp on a beach area. It wasn't too late and it was hot outside so we all decided to go in the water...

****LIVEYS POV****
I dove under water and swam up behind Johnny. I poked his butt and ducked down so he couldn't see me. Then I jumped up and dunked him. "Oh you're gonna pay!" He said popping up out of the water. He splashed me and then dove under. All of a sudden he jumped up and I was on his shoulders.
