Both champions appear on the arena grounds, and they prepare their Pokémon.

Diantha (The Champion of the Kalos Region! She's also a famous movie star! Her Team consists of Hawlucha, Tyrantum, Aurorus, Gourgeist, Goodra, and Gardevoir!)

Iris (The Dragon Queen and Champion of Unova! Successor to Alder! Her team consists of Hydregion, Druddigon, Salamance, Flygon, Altaria, and Haxorus!)
Diantha: I've been looking forward to challenge you Iris. You have a diverse team of Dragon Types, and I've wanted to see it for myself. It could be a spectacular show.
Iris: Well, I don't like to brag, but my Dragon Types are unbeatable. So, good luck trying.
Diantha: We'll see about that. Let's go Tyrantrum!
She sends out Tyrantum, with Iris sending out-
Iris: SHOW HER WHAT YOU'RE MADE OF Salamence!
Iris brings our Salamance.
As you witness the entire battle, you spark an interest.
(Y/N): I so have to battle Iris. I bet Charizard could take on her Dragon Types! Though Charizard is just a Fire Type. Doesn't make sense, but well, we'll see. If he can mega evolve, then that would be good!
Diantha: Now use Earthquake, Tyrantum!
Iris: Salamance use Dragon Claw!!
Both attacks do a lot of damage to the both of them!
Iris: COME ON SALAMANCE!!
Diantha: Keep it up Tyrantum. We can win.
Both Pokémon start clashing with each other, until they end up surprisingly, knocking each other out!!
Diantha: I've found probably the most interesting Pokémon Battle so far. Good.
Iris: Oh this is going to be good! Show me what you got Movie Star! Go back to the pictures!

Only their Star Pokémon were left!
Diantha: Go Gardevoir!
Iris: COME ON HAXORUS!!
They start attacking each other with!
Diantha: Use Psychic, Gardevoir.
Iris: Use Dragon Tail, Haxorus!
Haxorus ends up doing damage to Gardevoir, who teleports after getting hit!
Diantha: Hang on Gardevoir. Don't give up! We can still-
Iris: Nice try! USE DRAGON RAGE HAXORUS!!
And like that, in a snap, it was over!
Iris had won. Gardevoir was knocked out after Haxorus' attack!
