"Here you go, enjoy the movie," Robin says while waving to a customer. She had a lot to think about. Was Nancy still into steve after yesterday? She was confused though because their hug was so nice, almost different than hugging other people. She loved hugging Nancy for some reason. And Nancy seemed closer to Robin than the first day they met. Way closer. But why was she so upset that Nancy was possibly still into Steve? She had so many questions that were left unanswered.

Robin turns to Steve and asks, "Hey Steve, I have a question,"
"Yeah?"
"Are you still into Nance? I mean not to be nosy but she talked to you in private yesterday and you know-"
"No! I mean no no, I sort of like someone else, why do you wonder?"
"Don't even," Robin makes a face knowing what he was going to say.
"You like Nancy don't you," Steve smirks.

Robin doesn't respond. She thinks for a second. She might like Nancy but doesn't want to admit it, because it's embarrassing since she is the straightest girl ever.

Steve raises his eyebrow and continues organizing movie tapes.

Robin slouches on her bed after her long day at work. She didn't have much to do and usually she would call Nancy, but this time she heard a ringing from her phone. She jumped out of her bed and answered right away.

"Nance?!"
"No it's Steve, I was wondering if you wanted to come hangout with me and Eddie?"
"Oh, I'd love to but I already had plans sorry," Robin said knowing Nancy could just say no to them hanging out.
"Its alright, maybe another day?"
"Sure, you and Eddie can have alone time now," Robin teased with a certain tone in her voice. She heard the other side quiet.
"Steve?"

Robin had realized he hung up, so she decided to call Nancy. She picks up the phone and dials her number.

10 seconds pass and no answer. She tries ringing it again but still, there was no answer. Robin put down the phone disappointed. Until, she had an idea. Robin walked over to her dresser. She brought out a piece of paper and a pen. She sits on the floor thinking for a second while fidgeting with the pen.

"Dear Nancy,
Hey Nance it's Robin I was wondering if you'd like to come over to my house today? Sorry for spam ringing your phone, you weren't answering. If so, come whenever! Hope I wrote your address right. Im bad with addresses.

From, Robin"

"Thats alright," She thought to herself.

Not even a hour later, Robin heard a doorbell noise. She jumped up and sprinted down the stairs to the door.

"Nance! You came! I was kinda expecting you to not come at all because I figured you were busy and all," Robin started.
"Sorry I didn't answer the phone, but I got your letter, obviously," Nancy says, smiling.

The two start to go up to Robin's room, before Nancy says,
"Im actually hungry, can I eat first? Sorry, I forgot to eat at home before I left."

Robin turns around. "Oh no, it's alright. What do you want? I can cook it for you," Robin said before thinking because she cannot cook at all. Every time she tried to cook, she ended up burning the food.

——————————————————————

"This is really good Robin," Nancy says while eating what Robin cooked for her. Robin couldn't tell if it was out of pity or not since she burned a piece while making it. It was more than a piece actually. Robin just smiles back anyways.

Nancy finishes eating and asks,
"Do you want to go upstairs now?"
Robin nods, and they go up to Robin's room.
"Where are your parents by the way?" Nancy asks out of curiosity.

"They go out a lot but they'll be back probably when you leave," Robin answers.

Robin, out of nowhere, meets the carpet floor in her room and lays down.

Nancy gives a little laugh. "What are you doing?"
"I don't know, floor's are comfortable sometimes, y'know? Come on join me!" Robin laughs.
Nancy makes a confused smile and lays down on the carpet with Robin.

"Do you ever have weird dreams," Robin turns her head towards Nancy while talking. Nancy also turns her head to meet Robin's eyes.

"Depends, what do you consider weird?" Nancy smiles. Robin gets distracted by looking into Nancy's pretty eyes for a second. She could see her orange eyeshadow and pretty long eyelashes. Nancy was so beautiful.

"Dreams about people you like," Robin accidentally spat out. She meant to say "Dreams about people".

"Yeah, I do. Why?"
"I dunno," Robin turns her head back facing the ceiling while continuing, "Its just I had a dream the other day about the most beautiful person."

"She- I mean he went on a date with me to get ice cream and confessed his feelings, it was the best dream," Robin smiled by the thought of it. She knew Nancy had no clue it was a dream of her, or was hoping she didn't know.

"I once had a dream of someone I liked in grade school," Nancy says, still facing Robin.
"Grade school?" Robin laughs and faces Nancy again. She was surprised Nancy was still looking at her. She felt her face heating up a little.

Nancy lets out a small laugh. "Yeah, I know. We went on this cheesy date at a restaurant even though we were like 10 at the time." Robin laughs too.
"In your dream right?"
"Yeah of course, how could 10 year old me get a date to a fancy restaurant?" Nancy jokes around and they laugh together.

"Nance?"
"Yes Rob?
"Do you think you could stay over maybe? I was planning on going to this movie later but I forgot to ask you, and if you want to go it'll be late by the time it's done so you could sleep over here."

Nancy smiles and says, "Sure."
