Sunlight peaks through the blinds of Robin's windows. Robin slowly blinks her eyes. The first thought that came to her head was what happened last night. She couldn't remember that well. Her mind was still fuzzy after all that happened.
She sits up and looks back in her memories. Right, Nancy confessed to her. Wait what?! NANCY, Nancy wheeler, confessed that she likes her. That was crazy.
Robin couldn't believe it still. Her dreams had finally came true it seemed. And just like that, she realized something. Nancy always would hold her hand and blush around her.
"How could I be so oblivious?" Robin said out loud to herself.
Then the phone starts to ring. She immediately picks up the phone.
"Hi," Robin spits out, expecting to hear Nancy on the other end.
"Robin! Hey, I wanted to hear how your date went. I mean, you never told me how your first date went. I asked you and you turned red and ignored the questio-"
"Steve, damnit I thought you were Nancy," she says a bit disappointed, but also relived because she was too nervous to talk to Nancy.
"It actually went great, I mean the first date she brought me to this lovely field and we just sat holding each others hands-"
"Awww" Steve interrupts.
"Shut up anyways," Robin smiles while saying."The second date um it was good I mean nothing much happened except we kisse-"
"YOU KISSED???" Steve interrupts. Robin sits there, twiddling with a paperclip.
"Yes, we kissed Steve. I CANT BELIEVE IT EITHER!!!" Robin jumps up and starts pacing.
"I mean now I know what you meant by shes a good kisser, but since shes way shorter than me and when she kissed me on the doorstep of my house after, she had to stand on her tippy toes," Robin laughs, while talking about the person she really likes.
"Steve?"
"Im happy for you!" Steve replies. Robin feels her cheeks hurt from smiling so much."How's it doing with you and Eddie?"
"Alright, but he still doesn't know I like him. He does flirt with me sometimes so I'm considering telling him how I feel."Robin smirks and says, "I think he likes you, you should definitely tell him. Oh by the way you were completely right I hate to say, I was a oblivious mess. I mean she would blush around me 24/7 and hold my hand like everyday!"
Steve laughs. "I told you sooo."
After a hour of ranting to Steve about Nancy and Steve ranting about Eddie, they eventually hang up. Robin wanted to see Nancy so bad right now.
Just as she was thinking about Nancy, the doorbell rings.
"Nancy!" She runs down the stairs and flings open the door. She was right this time, it in-fact was Nancy.
"I missed you so I came over, if you don't min-"
"I was just thinking about calling you to see if you could come over so I'm more than happy!" Nancy smiles at those words."Im glad."

After they talk for a little up in Robin's room, they hear the front door open and someone walk in the house.
"Shit, my mom's home," Robin says sounding cautious all the sudden.
"Does she know you..."
"No, she hates me for it. We can't risk her finding out," Robin warns. Nancy frowns. But before Nancy could get a word out, a tall woman opens the door to the bedroom.
"Robi- wait who's this?" Her mother strictly asks.
"Oh um, this is Nance, my... Friend!" Her voice cracks on the last word. Ew, that sounded so weird. Yeah, friends don't kiss friends. But they weren't dating either. They were in the middle, sort of.
Nancy turns her head to Robin and forces a smile.
"Ok," her mother says and shuts the door.
"She doesn't care that a stranger is at her house?" Nancy suddenly asks.
"No, she could care less," Robin sighs. Nancy could tell Robin was upset, so she wrapped an arm around Robin. Robin glances at Nancy, whose inches from her face.
"Don't worry about your stupid mom," Nancy then breaks the silence. She gently kisses Robin's cheek, which immediately made Robin forget about her mother.
Robin's cheeks rise into a smile. She kisses Nancy's cheek back.
"Robin, did you know your so cute?" Nancy teases, her face almost touching Robin's face. Robin's cheeks become warm. She was too flattered to get any words out of her mouth.
"Especially when your embarrassed," Nancy continues. She leans in and kisses Robin on the lips this time.
Robin was too shocked to even process that she was kissing Nancy. Not a peck like last time, this was a real kiss. She let herself melt into the kiss.
When they pull away, all Robin could think was, what just happened?!
