"Razor, do you like anyone?"

"Bennett."

"I mean do you have a crush on anyone?"

"Bennett."

"No, like do you have someone you want to be your partner?"

"Bennett."

"No!" Bennett huffed, crossing his arms. "Like when you see yourself in the future with a home and a family who do you see with you?"

Razor paused this time, but his answer was still the same. "Bennett."

"Argh!" Bennett ruffled his hair and groaned. "Razor!" Bennett grabbed Razor's shoulders and stared up at him intently. "Who is the most important person to you right now?!"

"Bennett?" Razor spoke quietly, afraid Bennett would get annoyed with his answer again.

"When you have naughty dreams who is in them?" Bennett furrowed his brows, dead serious.

Razor's cheeks turned a light pink. He looked away and then down at the ground, rubbing the back of his neck.

Realizing what he'd asked, Bennett took a few steps back, blushing more furiously than Razor. "Sorry! That was too personal. I don't know why I said that..."

"Bennett."

"What?" had zoned out to try and calm down but then zoned back in when Razor said something. He'd forgotten all about the question.

"Always Bennett," Razor placed his hand over his heart. "Bennett is my everything."

"You're going to find a girlfriend someday..." Bennett sighed, shoving his hands into his pockets.

"Why?"

"Huh? Well, that's what people do..."

Razor frowned, seriously offended by this. "I don't want a girlfriend."

"But, you grow up," Bennett started counting on his hands the mandatory 'life events.' "Find a girlfriend, get married, get a house, have kids." Razor furiously shook his head 'no.' He grabbed Bennett's hands so he'd stop counting.

"Bennett. Only Bennett."

"It's nice that you're attached to me and everything but we can't stick together this close forever. What if you want to go to a different school? Or find different friends? Or you do end up getting a girlfriend? We can't kiss every day in the future either..."

"Why?"

"We're not kids anymore!" Bennett snapped, pulling his hands away. "You'll find someone else to kiss so you can't kiss me anymore!"

"Stop."

"It's true! It's just the way things are-"

Razor placed his hand over Bennett's mouth and pushed him up against the nearby tree. He slammed him up against it, glaring. "Stop saying things that make Bennett cry. Won't tolerate Bennett bullying even from Bennett."

Bennett blinked. He hadn't realized himself that his eyes were watering. He sniffled sobbing into Razor's hand. He grabbed Razor's hand, removing it from his mouth and hiding his face in it, crying horribly.

"Razor..."

Razor stayed silent.

"I wanna go home..." he muttered.

Razor picked Bennett up with one arm and carried him home. Bennett clung to his shirt, hiding his face in his shoulder, still crying. He felt the rustle of Razor's hair bob up and down as he walked and smelled the wolfhook shampoo he always used.  Razor held in one arm and patted Bennett's head with his free hand.

The one good thing about Razor's growth spurt. Bennett thought. I can hide in him.
