"So, you're leaving." Rayne says on her bed looking up at her
"Yeah." Erica says
"So, that's it? I'm guessing it's over?" She asks and Erica nods.

"Yeah, I love you but we made up our minds." She says
"All of you?" Rayne asks and a tear rolls down her cheek and then she stands up
"Goodbye Erica, I love you too." She says and hugs her and kisses her shoulder.

"You okay?" Stiles asks as Rayne enters the locker room
"Yeah, had to say goodbye to Erica and I couldn't find Boyd or Isaac so." She says and he hugs her and then Melissa walks into the locker room and coach walks out.

"Good morning! In less than an hour, aircraft from here will be joining others from around the world... and you will be launching the largest aerial battle in the history of mankind." Coach says.

"What?" Melissa asks
"Mankind-- that word should have new meaning for all of us today." He continues
"What the hell is he talking about?" Melissa asks Stiles.

"He does this every year." He answers
"Seriously?" She asks
"Yeah..." He says.

"We are fighting for our right to live!" Coach says
"Yeah!" The team cheers
"Wait, is this...?" She asks.

"Yeah. It's the speech from Independence Day. Also known as the best thing you'll ever witness." Rayne nods
"But, as the day the world declared in one voice--"
"It's Coach's favourite movie." Stiles adds.

"We will not go quietly into the night!"
"He doesn't know any sports speeches?" Melissa asks
"I don't think he cares." He says.

"No he doesn't." Rayne confirms
"Today, we celebrate our Independence Day!" He says
"YEAH!" The team cheers.

"Well spoken, Coach. I might have chosen something with a little more historical value, but there's no denying your passion. And, while I haven't been here long, there's no denying my pride in having a winning team for this school. I know you'll all be brilliant tonight, even with only one co-captain leading you. Now, I'm your principal, but I'm also a fan... So, don't think I'll be content to watch you merely beat this team. Get out there and murder them." Gerard says.

"You heard the man! Asses on the field!" Coach shouts
"Yeah!" They say and leave the locker room.

"Your dad coming?" Scott asks
"Yeah, he's already here." Stiles says looking back
"You seen Allison?" Scott asks.

"No. You seen Lydia?" Stiles asks
"Not yet." He says
"You know what's going on?" Rayne asks.

"Not yet." He says
"It's gonna be bad, isn't it? Like, people screaming, running for their lives, blood, killing, maiming-kind of bad?" Stiles asks
"Looks like it." Scott lightly winces at the thought.

"Scott... The other night, seeing my dad get hit over the head by Matt, you know, while I'm just lying there and I can't even move, it just... I want to help, you know? But I can't do the things that you can do. I can't--" Stiles rambles.

"It's okay." Scott reassures
"We're losing, dude." Stiles says
"The hell are you talking about? The game hasn't even started! Now, put your helmet on and get out there. You're in for Greenberg." Coach says.

"What? What happened to Greenberg?" Stiles asks
"What happened to Greenberg? He sucks! You suck slightly less." Coach explains
"I'm playing? On the field? With the team?" Stiles asks.

"Yes, unless you'd rather play with yourself..." He says
"I already did that today-- twice." Stiles says
"Ew." Rayne gags.
"Get the hell out there!" Coach says and he runs on the field.

"This is just hard to watch." Rayne groans
"Wow, I am loosing money tonight." She says
"What?" Scott asks.

"Don't ask." She says and Scott stands up
"Sit down, McCall." Coach says
"But Coach, we're dying out there!" Scott exclaims.

"Oh, I'm aware of that! Now sit." He says and then they sigh and Isaac sits down
"You came to help." Scott smiles
"I came to win." He says and they turn to Gerard.

"You got a plan yet?" Isaac asks
"No... Right now, it's pretty much just keep Jackson from killing anyone." Scott says
"Well, that might be easier if you're actually in the game. We have to make it so Coach has no choice but to play you." Isaac suggests.

"How do we do that? He's got a bench full of guys he can use before he ever puts me on the field. Can do it without putting anyone in the hospital?" Scott asks
"I can try." He says and puts his helmet on and then knocks others down
"Lahey! Ramirez, you're in." He shouts and Isaac does it again.

"Murphy, you're in!" Coach says and Isaac does it another time
"LAHEY! Seriously, what the hell is your problem?" Coach asks and he just shrugs

Then Isaac gets knocked to the ground by Jackson and Rayne and Scott rush over there
"It's not broken... but I can't move it. I think Jackson nicked me, 'cause I can feel it spreading." Isaac groans and paramedics get there with a stretcher
"One, two, three..." They say and lift Isaac up.

"McCall... Either you're in, or we forfeit." Coach says giving him his helmet
"You got this Scotty." Rayne pats on his shoulder and walks over to the bench and then he gets knocked over and Stiles gets the ball and then he gets knocked over and then Scott runs off the field.

"McCall! Where's McCall?" Coach shouts and then the Stiles picks up the ball and runs with it and gets to the goal
"Stilinski, shoot it! Shoot the ball! Shoot it, you idiot!" Coach shouts
"Shoot it!" Rayne says and he does and successfully gets it in the goal as they all cheer and so does he and he does it again and again.

"Yes!" Rayne cheers then the buzzer goes
"We did it! We won!" Coach says in disbelief and then the lights go out and someone screams and chaos erupts and then people circle around someone.

Then the lights turn on and Rayne runs to the others
"Jackson." She says in shock and then she looks around to see her dad
"Rayne where's Stiles?" He asks
"I don't know." She says.

"Where the hell is my son?" He shouts.
