"Your date with who?" He asked almost frustratedly.

Oh shit.

Odetta began panicking. Why the fuck would Marlene say that? As Odetta was busy panicking, Marlene soon realized her mistake. Muttering an "oh sorry" to the brunette girl beside her who was frozen. Odetta glared at Marlene as that definitely wasn't a good enough apology.

"I'm waiting." Sirius said, now crossing his arms over his chest, with an angry look on his face.

"Um nobody - " She quickly said, getting cut off by Marlene.

"She went on a date with Rosier tonight." The blonde said, deciding to tell him anyways as he would find out later either way.

"Shut the fuck up marls!" Odetta said, turning to face Marlene.

"You went on a date with Rosier?" Sirius interrupted their little conversation.

"Um.. no?" Odetta said, trying to save herself. Everybody in the room had stopped to hear the arguement that was going on between the two friends. Sirius was now infuriated.

"So we're lying to each other now huh?" He said angrily, walking up to Odetta, almost stomping.

"You're acting like a child!" Odetta yelled at him. If there was one thing she couldn't handle, it was definitely confrontation. Tears brimmed her eyes, threatening to spill. She didn't let them. As much as she wanted to, she knew she needed to stand her ground, and not let a teenagers temper tantrum make her cry.

"So what if I am?" He spat back, letting anger control him completely. Right now, Sirius was not in a state to argue. He'd never gotten this mad about Odetta and boys. But Rosier was different. Rosier was evil.

"Just suck it up Sirius! What, are you jealous or something? Leave me and my love life alone!" She yelled back angrily. There was no holding back her tears anymore. As close as she was with the group of teens, she would not let them see her cry any time soon. Knowing that she was now crying, she ran up to her dorm and slammed the door, sliding down it crying as she did so.

Odetta had believed this was a fun night, and that nothing could ruin it. Even though they'd just met, Odetta could find herself growing feelings for Evan, as he was nice, and caring, and gentle, not wanting to rush things. She had appreciated that he was like that, as all her past boyfriends weren't quite like him. She didn't understand why Sirius was lashing out at her. Obviously he was a Slytherin, and obviously he was friends with bad people, but you can't stereotype people just based on what you see right? Everybody has a good and bad side whether they like it or not. And for some people, you might just have to dig a little deeper to figure that out.

After a few minutes, Odetta had wiped the tears from her eyes, now noticing that she was crying harder than she thought. She got up from the floor, now moving over to a little drawer in her makeup organizer by her bed to go get makeup removal wipes to remove the makeup she had put on earlier that day.

Downstairs, while Odetta was removing her makeup, Sirius was still infuriated.

He was pacing around the common room, clearly agitated. "Why would she go on a date with him? Obviously she knows that he's bad, right?" He asked the group, as they had been the only ones left in the common room now. The teens were now involved in Odetta and Sirius's little quarrel. They all knew that you two would make up by tomorrow afternoon, if not by the morning, so they were only half worried.

"I've really got to apologize to her tomorrow" Marlene whispered to Alice, who was now beside her. Alice merely nodded at that statement.

"I'm sure he's not too bad" Lily stated, trying to help the case. Sure she knew Evan was a Slytherin, sure she doubted him, but you weren't going to listen to a word of that, as you still wanted to give him a chance.

"Not too bad? Not too bad?" Sirius turned to her with a flabbergasted face. "Not too bad" She repeated. Obviously Sirius was dumbfounded at this point.

"How could you say that lily? He's a Slytherin" He almost gagged at the word. She opened her mouth to speak, but Sirius continued. "He's friends with the guy who called you the M word Lily." Sirius said, not thinking about what he was saying. Remus now stood up, as Sirius was obviously not going to shut up about it any time soon.

"Sirius." Remus said, holding the black haired boy by his shoulders. "You can discuss this with her tomorrow. It'll be alright." He said reassuringly, although he wasn't sure if you'd even give him the chance to speak. By this time, you'd already decided that you would ignore him. If he doesn't approve of my-.. relationship, then he doesn't have to talk to me. Easy. You'd thought.

If everybody knew one thing for sure, you were stubborn. Very stubborn. Meaning, you wouldn't submit to anybody, or apologize to anybody ever. No matter how long it took, you've always gotten your way, no matter if you were in the wrong or not. So safe to say for now, reader, you were to ignore him. You were to ignore him until he came crawling back to you, apologizing. Then, you'd be satisfied. But now, you were in bed, asleep, trying to sleep away all of your problems for the time being.

Soon, everyone had made their way to their dorms as well, whether it had been the girls going to you guy's, or it had been the boys going to theirs. When the girls had walked in, they'd noticed you already asleep. Sighing, they all went to bed, falling asleep shortly after. As for the problem between you and Sirius, they had managed to calm him down for now, and he'd decided that he was going to ignore you for now as well. She can talk to me when she stops seeing that foul, loathsome evil little cockroach Rosier. He'd thought. If there were anybody as stubborn as you, I'd would definitely be Sirius. I suppose that's one thing you two shared in common, you both were stubborn sons of bitches, and you both accepted that rather proudly.

~

Over the next week, you and Sirius still haven't talked to each other at all. Not one word, glance, or thought about each other. At this point, everyone was getting worried, even the people that weren't in your little twisted friend group. They'd all noticed that you weren't clowning around, pranking, or messing with anybody. That definitely worried most people.

As for you, you'd been getting closer with Evan these past few days, getting close with him. As for the study sessions, you found out that you'd be having them until Christmas. Then, if you're grades have improved, you'd no longer need them. Of course this wasn't a problem for you, as you and Evan were very close now. You still didn't know of Evans plan, and you'd believed him to be completely harmless.

You and James on the other hand, had become closer as well. Not friends close, but acquaintances close. That meaning you'd recognized him more. Although, that didn't mean you two didn't insult each other any less than you did before. As a result, Sirius had started talking to him less, as you were being around him somewhat more. Which was your plan all along. To drive Sirius away from his other best friend, and have him come running back to you. Of course it was wrong, but so what? They wouldn't do anything about it.

But this particular morning, you'd discovered something. Perhaps, not really discovered, however it was a shock to you. James had begun being really nice to you for all of a sudden. You'd asked him what he wanted, because he was never that nice to you ever. He just said it was nothing, and shrugged off the question. However you knew something was up with him, and you wanted to get to the bottom of it. No matter what it was.

(A/n. I've decided that I'd make Odetta - Us/you into a first person character, as I feel like it would be weird writing in third person, rereading it, and being referred to my name /this isn't my name obvi / so there's that.

Also posting, I've been on a irregular schedule at first, but now I've come up with a schedule. Every Sunday and Wednesday up until August 7th, I'll have a chapter up around 3-6 am central standard time. After the 7th, expect one around 4-6 pm CST.)
