Odetta wasn't a light sleeper.

I think that's all the words you need to determine whether or not she woke up late or on time.

If you said on time, then you are terribly wrong.

Her roommates were long gone by the time she'd woken up.

She had managed to miss breakfast, her first class, and half of her second class when she'd woken up.

Her friends disapproved of this highly, but with the lack of sleep she had gotten from the night before, it was safer to not wake her up.

Odetta's dream was interrupted by the sunlight streaming in her face, that the curtains failed to cover.

"James!" Odetta yelled after getting hit in the face with a snowball.

"Odetta!" James yelled, laughing, after seeing the angry look displayed upon the brunette girl's face.

"Oh I will so get you back for this, James Potter." Odetta seethed, picking up various snowballs and sending them in James's direction.

Odetta's aim was already terrible enough, and all it took was a few slight movements from James so that she would miss every single throw.

"Do you need my glasses, Odetta?" James called out. "I'm the one with vision problems, yet you're the one struggling to see." He laughed, picking up a snowball and throwing it at her feet.

"Oh shut up, Potter! I have terrible hand-eye coordination. Besides, you're all the way across the courtyard, it's a miracle I could even get snowballs over there!" She yelled back to him, ducking behind her wall of snowballs in order to not get hit by the new snowball James had sent her way.

"That's what they all say!" He called back out to her, before grabbing various snowballs and sending them her way, hitting her in the face several times, and knocking down her snow wall.

After knocking down the wall, James was greeted by the sight of Odetta, crouching down behind the ghost of her snow wall.

Oh boy was Odetta pissed.

"I didn't want to resort to this, Potter." She seethed, looking down at all the snow around her.

In the blink of an eye, she whipped out her wand and began waving it in a figure eight motion. Next thing they knew, the snowballs were levitating just at eye level.

Well, before James could even comprehend what had just happened, there was an uncountable amount of snowballs being sent his way.

While he was getting attacked by snowballs, Odetta put up her wand and ran over to where he was, and began making new snowballs and throwing them at him.

"Hey-" He called out, getting hit in the face with one of the magic snowballs, "that isn't fair!" He said.

Odetta stood there and laughed at James getting attacked by snowballs.

"Oh I am so getting payback, Ms Lynch!" He said, spitting snow out of his mouth as the magic snowballs finally ran out.

"I thought it was Mrs Potter," Odetta said, tilting her head at him, with a very obvious smile displayed upon her face.

"Oh it will be soon, trust me." He said quietly, smiling.

"What was that?" Odetta asked him, turning her head back right side up.

"Nothing.. now come here, Potter." He said, standing up.

She knew that he was about to chase her. She knew that line oh so well.
