Odetta was so excited. It was unfathomable.

But, there was only one problem. She didn't know whether he was coming or not.

Well, that isn't the only problem.

The main problem was, potentially, everyone is going to be mad that she got to see him first. Especially James, that's practically his brother.

But all couldn't go wrong could it? They'd be more overjoyed than angry, wouldn't they?

Well it was the only thing to hope for.

"This is going to be my summer guys, I'm telling you." Dorcas said excitedly.

"You've said that every year since first year." Lily said, giving Dorcas an unamused look.

"But I'm positive that this one is going to be my summer." The short girl said, clapping her hands.

"How much do you want to bet?" Lily asked.

"Oh shut it, Lils," Marlene began, "besides, you're already hot babe." She said, sending a wink toward Dorcas.

Dorcas smiled and looked away.

"Okay lovebirds, we get it, you like each other, just date already." Alice chimed in.

"It's more complicated than that," Dorcas replied.

A wave of silence washed over the group.

"Moving on," Odetta said to diffuse the tension, "you guys have to be at Potter's house tonight. No later than 8."

A collection of moans and groans were heard throughout the compartment.

"What? It's important." She said seriously.

"And have you told Potter about this?" Lily asked, unamused.

"No, but that is what I'm about to do. Thank you for reminding me Lils." Odetta said quickly, leaving the compartment before she had to hear anyone's mouth.

"No." James Potter said, staring blankly at the wall while Odetta yanked on one of his arms that were crossed.

"Please," her voice rang out. "It's important."

"I said no" James said monotonously.

"But why not?" Odetta asked, now poking his arm.

"Because you won't tell me why." He replied.

"But it's that important." She whined.

"But it's my house, tell me why." James replied plainly, still staring at the wall.

"Because it's really important." Odetta said, pouting, as an attempt for him to agree.

Silence followed her words.

"No." He said blankly.

As that word left his mouth, the repetitive pulling on his arm stopped, and the long brown hair and light skinned face left the corner of his sight.

Odetta had two options.

Grab him by the neck and pull him down, or beg the boys to convince him.

There was no chance Odetta was getting him down.

...

Odetta climber into Remus's lap and put her head into his shoulder, hugging him.

Now this wasn't weird for either of them, because Remus had no attraction to Odetta, as she didn't have any sort of attraction towards him.
