Jealousy Kills || James Potter

Chapter 23

If anyone blinked, they wouldn't be able to see Lily running out of the great hall.

If anyone took a long blink, they wouldn't have seen Odetta chasing her with a metal spoon, and with her wand out.

Supposedly, nobody blinked or took a long blink at that, and all watched her chase Lily out of the great hall.

Marlene chased Odetta, who was chasing Lily.

Dorcas chased Marlene, who was chasing Odetta, who was chasing Lily.

Alice chased Dorcas, who chased Marlene, who was chasing Odetta, who was chasing Lily.

Then, James began chasing Alice, who was chasing Dorcas, who has chasing Marlene, who was chasing Odetta, who was chasing Lily.

Sirius then began chasing James, who was chasing Alice, who was chasing Dorcas, who was chasing Marlene, who was chasing Odetta, who was chasing Lily.

Then Remus began chasing Sirius, who had started to chase James,  who was chasing Alice, who was chasing Dorcas, who was chasing Marlene, who was chasing Odetta, who was chasing Lily.

Then Peter just began chasing all of them, as his friends had abruptly ran out, even though he had no clue what was going on.

Everyone was all running for a good while, but while Lily was fast, Odetta was faster, so she soon caught up to Lily, and tackled her.

Yes, the girls were fast, but the boys were faster by a long run.

So just mere seconds after Odetta tackled Lily and began hitting her with the spoon, James was the first one to reach the two, and picked Odetta up without a problem, and threw her off of Lily.

And James did not push Odetta off of Lily.

He threw her.

So as a result, she landed about a good 6 feet away from Lily, the spoon strayed a few feet away.

At this point, everyone had caught up, and a few people were crowding around trying to get a look at what was going on.

Lily had a look of terror stuck to her face from since when Odetta tackled her and began hitting her with the spoon. James was making sorry attempts to try and console her, even though there was no consoling to be done.

Sirius was the first to reach Odetta, and he had to restrain her, because she tried to make her way over to the spoon again.

Of course Odetta wasn't mad, but spiders of all things?

That wasn't cool.

Sure it might've been funny to see her flailing around her room naked, but she wasn't even there.

And Odetta had to be seen by a group of boys who were watching her watch them watch her.

Not cool.

"Im guessing it was lily then?" Remus spoke up, while just standing at the scene rubbing the bridge of his nose in disappointment.

Lily had now calmed down, and began lightly laughing.

"Yes." Odetta said angrily.

"Wait.. they know?" Lily asked, holding back her laughter now.

"Yes." she just barely whispered, but loud enough for people around to hear.

That was her breaking point.

She began laughing harder than before, literally wheezing.

James had this look of confusion on his face, probably wondering how Lily could go from terror to amusement in mere seconds.
