⚠️⚠️ TRIGGER WARNING: Yelling, screaming, name calling, fighting, and arguing.
"YOU KNEW HOW MUCH WE MISSED HIM, ODETTA. YOU KNEW. AND YET YOU FUCKING DIDNT TELL ANYBODY!" He screamed.
"I'm sorry," Odetta choked out between sobs, hoping for it to just end soon.
"YOU DON'T FUCKING GET IT. YOU'LL NEVER GET IT. HE'S MY FUCKING BROTHER. YOU KEPT THIS SECRET FOR SO LONG. YOU COLD HAVE AT LEAST TOLD ME, YOU KNOW?" He continued screaming in her face.
"I just wanted to surp- surprise you guys. I didn't m- mean for it to c- come out like t- this." She cried out.
Odetta wasn't a fan of stuttering.
In fact, she never did it.
Besides when she was crying.
"Get out." James said lowly.
"What?" Odetta asked, picking her head up from between her knees.
"Get out." He said, louder this time, but not loud enough.
"What?" She said, leaning forward to the best of her ability in attempts to hear him better.
"GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY HOUSE!" He yelled at her.
And that's what she did.
Odetta wasted no time scrambling up from her spot on the floor.
She quickly got up, not bothering to even look at James as she unlocked the door behind her and ran out.
After only a few steps, she fell over, but didn't waste any time getting up.
She tried her best to stop crying and wipe her tears as she made her way downstairs, hearing James's door slam once more.
Red-faced and tear stricken, Odetta had finally reached where she needed to be.
Before walking into the Potter living room, she tried her best to calm herself down and rid all her tears from her face so that her friends wouldn't worry. She didn't need any more problems tonight.
Displaying a small, natural but fake smile, she walked into the living room to see everyone still celebrating. Now, James's parents were in there as well.
"Oh hi Odetta, dear. I didn't even know you were here, but it isn't a surprise seeing as the rest of your group is." Euphemia said, lightly laughing.
Odetta laughed as well, trying to fit in as best as she could.
Fleamont, standing next to his wife had noticed her as well.
"Thank you so much, Odetta, for bringing Sirius back to us. You don't know how much it means to us," He said, enveloping Odetta in a hug.
"Oh course, Mr Potter. I couldn't keep him all to myself," she said chuckling, remembering the event that'd just taken place.
Fleamont let her go.
Odetta looked around the room, at all the happy teenagers, and soon found Sirius partying like there was no tomorrow. Classic Sirius.
