Always? Forever.

New Phase!

"Alright rats, let's get going!" I yelled as the door to our room opened. We all ran out of the room and started rushing through all of the choices until we ended up a door. Someone pressed the wrong button and Leorio was freaking out because he thought is was Tonpa- I mean, we all thought that but we didn't say anything. In the end we found out it was Gon who accidentally pressed the wrong button but Leorio was still pissed. He and Tonpa kept arguing and I was getting agitated. "Hey, Y/n, Gon- c'mon" Killua pulled me away into the other room, Gon and Kurapika following close behind. The room had every kind of weapon that you could think of. Leorio and Tonpa entered and the speaker started talking.

I zoned out for the most part because I was in awe of all the weapons but, I caught the bit where he said some of us would have to stay behind if we took one path. I snapped back to reality when Tonpa and Leorio started fighting. "I don't know about you guys but I know for sure that me, Y/n, and Gon are gonna be part of the four." Killua sharpened his nails and stepped in front of me and Gon. "Uh- actually I can stay back if you guys like! Remember boys?" I poked Gon and Killua in the sides and they seemed to remember that even if I fail, I'll still get my license. Gon shook his head though "but it would be no fun without you Y/n!" I sighed when Killua agreed with him. I was startled when Tonpa swung an axe near Leorio and into a wall.

The axe when's into the wall. I looked at Gon and we had the same thought. We nodded at each other in agreement and he told everyone the plan. Our plans was to close the long path and chop through the wall and get into the shorter one. It took us a really long time to get through the wall but, we did. Gon and Kurapika went first and we found out the path was a slide. I turned to Killua and smiled excitedly at him and he smiled back. I clicked the buttons on my shoes and they turned into roller skates while Killua got on his skateboard. "You thinking what I'm thinking?" I grinned at him and he replied "let's race!" We counted to three and pushed off. It was a really fun ride down even though Killua won. He exited first and I came crashing into his back. The examiner said we passed and So did the others.

That phase was actually really fun, well ya' know, besides the whole fighting that one guy and almost dying. We left the tower and went outside where the examiner explained that we had to get peoples tags. A lot of people started to take their tags off and so did I, but Killua didn't. I leaned over to him and whispered "cocky much" he rolled his eyes "I hope I draw your number just so I can wipe that smug look off of your face." I laughed and everyone looked at me because I interrupted someone drawing a number. I stuck my tongue out at them and they all looks away. Before I knew it it was my turn to draw a number. I drew my number and waited for a bit before we were told that we could peel the sticker off. I got number 69 and burst into laughter. "G-guys, look at my number" I showed them the number and started rolling on the ground in laughter. "I need to show this to Ryo and Reiki!"

   I hopped up from the ground and started to search for them. It took me a while but I eventually found them while we were boarding a boat to take us to the next phase. "Guys! Look at what number I got!" I held up the number and Ryo burst into a fit of giggles. Reiki just gave a deadpanned expression before cracking a smile. "Well what did you guys get?" I questioned and they both stiffened. "We uh- we got each other." They turned away from each other slightly in shame. Well if there was any way to prove who the better twin is, this would be it. "Well, why don't you guys just collect 6 other tags?" Reiki sighed, "because only one of us can pass the exam." I scoffed "I call bullshit, if you both want to pass then you can both pass. No stupid aunts can do anything about it!" I crossed my arms and huffed while I walked away to find Killua and Gon.

   I found them sitting near the edge of the boat and exchanging the numbers of who the got. Gon got Hisoka and Killua got 199. "Well Killua, I would help you figure out who that is but I'm to lazy." I plopped down on Go and Killua's lap, like I had previously in the first phase. "It's kinda crazy how we're already to the fourth phase." I mumbled "I'm glad I met you two!" Gon cheered and Killua scoffed while complaining about how embarrassing he was and I jus chuckled. "I wish I knew you when I was younger, it's woulda been so fun." I smiled up at them and they smiled back. There was a big difference in the way they smiled. Gon, had a huge joyous grin plastered onto his face while Killua had a small, more endearing smile. It's no wonder they're best friends, opposites attract am I right? So, I wonder where that puts me? If they're like the sun and moon what am I? Maybe the stars, or the earth?

  I change my mind actually, I think that Kurapika would be the earth and Leorio would be the stars. I'm not to sure about Ryo or Reiki though. Who knows, maybe someone will tell me one day. I felt the boat slow down and then come to a stop. I sat up from the boys' laps  and stood up, holding my hands out to them to help them up. They took my hands and I pulled them up. We all dusted ourselves off and Gon ran off to talk to the others, leaving me and Killua behind. I hopped up onto the railing and Killua leaned up against it. "So... wanna team up? It would be pretty boring without you." Killua scratched the back of his neck in embarrassment when he asked me and I laughed. In the process I leaned back and almost fell off the boat. "Shit!" I started flailing my arms but Killua luckily caught me by the elbows and pulled my back down to the floor. "You've got yourself a deal fluff butt!"
