The end of Greed Island 🏝️

When we finally made it back into the game apparently Gon was already starting beef with people. "Seriously Gon, we can't leave you alone for a day without you getting yourself into trouble." My and Killua ridiculed Gon like a parent would their child and Gon just gave a guilty smile. "Geez, so you already met up with that one guy from our team?" I wondered out loud and Bisky nods. "We don't have very long to come up with a plan so we're putting Killua in charge of it, per Gon's request." Killua grins and fist pumps "sweet!" And soon enough Killua had done just that. We'd all been training really hard for a little over a week and it was almost time. The guy on our team, who I was once again informed was name Tsezguerra, left the game for good. So the Bombers would soon turn their attention to us.

"Wait, so we're just supposed to sit this one out?" I motioned to myself and Artemis who look as equally unhappy. Killua scratched the back of his head, "well yeah- sorta. You two are supposed to hold onto all of our cards in the event that the plan ends up failing." I shrugged a bit. As much as I want in on the action I don't really mind sitting this one out. Doesn't seem to exciting. All of the cards are transferred into me and Artemis's binders and set off. It was assumed that the Bombers would show up sometime today. When the fighting is over we're supposed to meet up at the starting point of the game. In a grassy field... "Artemis, I need you to take Apollo and go, somewhere far from our rendezvous point." She seemed confused and me and opened her mouth to talk but I promptly cut her off. "Don't ask questions, just go, please." I started to get a sinking feeling in my stomach.

Today had to be the day, it was the only day I knew that I would be anywhere near a large grassy field. The phantom troupe would try something today, I knew they would. I used my last accompany card to get to the starting point and from her I'll just wait. And wait I did, I almost thought for a second that my dream had been wrong. I had just barely been able to block a punch to the side of the head with my arm and I was thrown back. It was the man with no eyebrows. I immediately made my ren as large as possible and it began swirling around me, a purple hue taking shape. "C'mon kid just give up already!" He yelled at me and suddenly I was surrounded by them. I turned in circles looking for the man in blue, spotting him in the distance.

"It won't work anymore!" I yelled out, stopping on Nobunaga, trying to reason with him. "My father, I killed him." They all seemed somewhat shocked at me but then Hisoka spawned. "She's not lying, and wasn't he the only way to get directly in contact with Chrollo?" They all glared at Hisoka but then turned their attention back to me. "Then why don't we just kill her?" A big guy with long earlobes turned to Machi, she glanced at me and we made eye contact. I gave a hard glare back and she sighed. "Let's just leave, we won't be able to beat her and we have no use for her anymore." They all give her questioning looks and she turns to walk away, "just a hunch." And then like nothing had happened in the first place, I was left alone. "Whew!" I plop onto the ground and let my ren slowly slip back into Zetsu.

Not long after all of my friends show up, including Artemis and Apollo. Luckily they were first so I didn't have to explain why we separated to anyone else. I just told her that I had a run in with the troupe and she hummed, saying she figured. After that the others got there, Gon being the last. I sighed at the sight of his hands. Well, hand. "God Damnit you reckless idiot!" I punched Gon on the back of his head and he whined about it. Even though I knew that would happen to him, it was still gross to look at. We quickly switched all of our cards back into Gon's book while he talked to the Bombers. We healed them, along with ourselves. "Hey Y/n, check it out!" Killua started punching the air and I laughed. "Here, a target!" I held up my hands for him to punch and he did so lightly.

With everyone back to their original health a voice sounded through out books. "Attention all players! Someone has collected all of the slot cards. We invite everyone back to the start to participate in a Greed Island trivia contest, the winner gets card zero!" And so the game began, it was rather quiet despite the amount of people around us. Everyone was focused on trying to win. I myself, gave up immediately. Even if I had known the answers to any of the questions it wouldn't be right to take the win from Gon. "I won!" Nevermind, Artemis just did 😐. We all cheered and the card appeared in front of her in all its glory. She grabbed it, examining it closely before handing it to Gon. "This belongs to you, Gon." He grinned and hugged her tightly. He face we beet red and me and Killua made kissy faces behind Gon, so only she could see.

If I'm gonna be so for real, I have no idea what went on after that. Gon went and talked to some guy and then we partied in the town. It was really late so instead of leaving we decided to stay at an inn. We got two room, one for Bisky and one for the children. Which is what me are. "IM THE COOCHIE MAN!!👹" I screamed while chasing Killua around the room. He screeched and let out crocodile tears "I don't have a coochie! I swear!" I tackle him and we both scream, which ended with our laughter. Gon walked into the room with Artemis, looking rather perplexed. Apollo trotted in behind them, still at his original size, looking content. He had feasted today and was extra chubby. "Here kitty, kitty" I held out my arms for him and he crawled into my lap. I'll admit that I hadn't been spending nearly enough time with him. I heard Gon's whine from the side of the bed where he and the others sat. "I whish I could take more cards!" To be honest, I'm just ready to leave this stupid game. I ignored the rest of everyone's conversations and crawled under the blankets with my cat, soon falling asleep.
