"How are you feeling now?" Jasmine asked.
Sunny inhaled sharply while shaking her head, "Awful. It's really painful."
Jasmine rubbed her back while Sunny whined in pain, "Do the breathing as we did together. It'll pass, Sunny. It'll pass. Your baby is here. You just need to hold on a little longer."
Sunny got up from the yoga ball and laid back on the bed, trying to get some rest before the real fight began.
The house was somehow busy. Busy preparing this and that. In front of the bed, Sunny was lying down was an inflatable pool. A round one for Sunny later on when Sunny is fully dilated. Sunny chose water delivery to be the way of delivering the baby.
And ever since this morning, Mark has been one of the busiest men in the house. Make sure Sunny has everything she needs. Keep updating their family and friends about Sunny's condition.
Sunny will be delivering at home since she doesn't want any disturbance from the public.
So, she chose home. There will be hired qualified doctors and nurses monitoring Sunny during the whole process of giving birth.
Hired ones. Paid thousands for Sunny to get the private life she wants.
"Don't you want to eat anything?" Jasmine asked.
Jasmine has been the one next to Sunny for 10 minutes already because Mark has to speak to his parents and some of their friends on the phone.
Sunny replied with a head shake, "No." She breathes with difficulty.
"Where's Mark?" Sunny muttered while she closed her eyes.
"He's outside. He'll come back in a minute. Do you want me to call him over?" Jasmine asked.
Sunny nodded quickly, "Please."
"Alright, wait a second. I'll get him. Wait here," Jasmine lets go of Sunny and exits the bedroom in a hurry.
"Sunny, can we check your dilation again?" The nurse asked.
"Yeah," Sunny replied with a nod.
While the nurse was checking her dilation, Mark came in and went straight for Sunny.
"Hey," Mark said softly and kissed her forehead.
"I-I want you here," Sunny said softly.
"Okay. Okay, I'll be here. I'll be here all the time," Mark replied, holding her hands and pulling a chair near the bed.
