As soon as the van stopped at the departure gate, I turned to Adam.
"Adam, mommy is leaving now, okay?" I said to him.
"Right now?" He questioned with a pout and worried tone.
I smiled blandly and nodded, "I promise. Mommy will be back in four days. Daddy is here to take care of you." I said while caressing Adam's face.
"But it's not going to be complete," Adam whines.
I looked at Mark, and he smiled, "It's going to be alright. Still need time to get used to you going away for some time."
I nodded and looked back at Adam, who was pouting. Tears already form in his eyes.
"What about some candies tomorrow? Mommy promises you that mommy will be back by tomorrow," I said to him, assuring him as sure as I could.
"Promise?" he said, looking at me as he sniffled.
I nodded and smiled, "Promise. You have to be a good boy to daddy, too, okay? Don't run around too much. Don't give daddy a hard time, okay?"
"I promise, mommy," Adam replied before hugging me.
I smiled and hugged him back, "I love you."
"I love you too," he muttered.
After that, I hugged Mark, "Have a safe flight," he said as he groped my ass.
"Excuse me!?" I shrieked and slapped his hands while he laughed.
"I'm gonna miss you, baby," he pecked my lips.
"Yeah, gonna miss you too," I chuckled while holding his face with my hands.
"Take care of Adam properly. Call me or mom if you need anything. Don't. Burn. The. House. Down." I said to him softly and sternly.
"Yes, ma'am. I think I'll be bringing him to sleep at the 127's apartment," he said.
"Alright, that sounds safer than you staying at the penthouse. I'm not sure if Lia's coming home soon. She might be alone at home," I said while Mark picked Adam up and carried him.
"I'll ask her later," Mark said.
"Oh, okay then. Then make sure you bring everything that Adam needs, okay? I think the 127 members can entertain him more than the two of us could," I said while caressing Adam's hair.
"Yup. That's what I thought," Mark replied and chuckled.
"Take a rest if you need some. I'm sorry I had to leave," I said to him.
