UNEDITED SPECIAL CHAPTER 2: Hope Mikaelson Is Special

The Mikaelson name was one for the books at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the 20th century.
After the arrival of Aeron Mikaelson, the family name had been shared around the supernatural world for their strength and control of their magic. And when her brother's children began to show signs of holding this magic? Oh, you can bet that his wife sent her children to the newly founded school when they began to display being magical beings.
Hundreds of years later, a child was born meant for greatness. A descendant of Klaus Mikaelson, the werewolf who fought to be able to practice his magic alongside his siblings.

They say this child's ancestors, Esther and Aeron Mikaelson were one of the very first lineages of witches and wizard alike. For this reason alone, the Mikaelson's became known widely throughout the world. Many of those with the Mikaelson name went to Hogwarts before entering the real world, strengthening their already powerful magic.
This was no different for Hope Campbell-Mikaelson, who was top of her classes once she began her studies at Hogwarts. She was so brilliant that she was taking classes more advanced than her other peers. Her mother had sheltered her for many years seeing as she didn't want to acknowledge the fact that she was a witch. Her mother was a regular human who fell in love with a wizard unknowingly until it was too late, making Hope Mikaelson one of the only half-bloods to ever live in the Mikaelson family.
It has been six years since Hope went to Hogwarts. Six years since she learned about magic and truly let herself become immersed in the power she felt inside of her.
Her mother had dropped her off at the platform her first year and told her that now that she was one of them, she couldn't come home to the regular world. At first, she cried for days on end, not knowing if she would ever find another home. This was when she met her family, the Mikaelson's. As much as she had been told by her mother on the way to the platform that the other side of her family was evil and no good, she found herself welcomed by them.
They took her home for yule that first year she was at Hogwarts, and gave her everything she could have ever wanted. She had her own room and after being taken to go shopping, she had her dream room. Hope soon realized that although on the inside of their Mikaelson Mansion they were welcoming, on the outside at Hogwarts or anywhere else, they were cold and intimidating. Of course, Hope didn't realize why until she was cornered by a couple of Gryffindors that had long-standing hate for her family name. As soon as she was truly immersed in the wizarding world she came to the conclusion that Mikaelson was a great and powerful last name to have.
