12. Reading Buddy

Hope was walking with Hermione denying there was anything wrong between her and Harry. It was quite awkward that morning, especially after her consciousness showed her Draco, of all people.

"Oh c'mon Hope! You didn't even give him a second glance! What happened between you two?"

Just as Hope was about to tell her that nothing happened between them and that she just wasn't feeling well, a girl dressed in black and blue robes walked up to Harry. She looked determined and gleeful as she stopped just a foot away from him. The tribrid grew with jealousy at how close she got, and how comfortable it seemed the two were.

"Harry, hi. I was wondering if- if you'd like to eat with me today for lunch? Outside in the courtyard?"

Hope watched the wizard with hawk like eyes before he looked down at the shorter girl. Her bangs hid her eyes from Hope's vision, but she could see the familiarity in Harry's eyes. Hope had no idea who the girl was, and before even Hermione could interject, the wizard spoke.

"Y- Yes! I'd love to, Cho. Where do you want to meet?"

The tribrid bit her lip out of frustration, hands turning to fists

"How about... our tree?"

Our tree? They have their own tree?!

The tribrid had heard enough as she began to walk away without giving any of the golden trio a reason for her to stay. She was angry, pure white anger that seeped in her mind, and she didn't exactly know why.
She'd only known the boy for a few days. And sure, they had a connection, but what did that even mean within itself? What hurt her the most was the fact that he gave her all the signals that he liked her while having another girl on the side!

Hope stomped down the halls toward her classroom for her first class of the day, but the moment she looked inside and saw none other than the platinum blond sitting inside, she huffed out a breath and kept walking.

It was like her feet knew where they were going as she was lead toward a pathway in the school. Her legs moved on their own taking her down a dark hallway and then out to what looked like a huge garden.
Hope could smell the flowers blooming all around her. The smell of the trees and pond water. Her wolf was excited inside of her, begging to get out and roam the garden.

The tribrid stepped forward until she could feel the sun on her skin, and as she breathed it all in, a twig snapped to the left of her.

She was on alert then, ears perked for any sounds or movement, eyes open wide looking for anyone in her line of sight. Just as she felt her eyes shifting from brown to gold a male figure emerged from behind a tree.
Hope almost gasped at who it was, and she almost facepalmed at the fact she could've completely blown her identity. The tribrid stood straight with a smile on her face as the tall male student stepped toward her.
