Unedited 16. Father's and Constellations
Hope and Harry found their way back into the school after their conversation with Luna and their time finding a new space for both of them. It was soon that they realized it was their first period that would be starting very soon and hurried toward the room. Both of them got there late and noticed their seats were taken by other students. Although their seats weren't exactly their assigned seating they always sat in them. And now noticing that they were taken they both looked around the room and saw that the only two empty seats were one besides a Ravenclaw and another next to a Slytherin.
Hope's eyes glistened as she realized the Slytherin the empty seat was next to was none other than Blaise Zabini. It was their first class of their Thursday morning, Astronomy. The tribrid liked this class quite a lot seeing as she liked the subject of stars and other planets.
Without a second thought the tribrid was walking toward the seat that was beside Blaise and in front of Draco. As she took the seat she leaned until her shoulder bumped with the Slytherin's. Blaise turned his head toward her with a glare on his face until he saw who it was and immediately smiled widely. "Blue! What are you doing here? Don't you usually sit in the front?" It was true. Hope sat in the very front row of the room in this particular class because she liked to talk with the professor about the different patterns and meanings of the stars.
But today, since her seat was taken, she was caught sitting in the back next to Blaise who never truly liked to talk in any of his classes. Blaise leaned toward the Gryffindor with a mischievous smile on his face and brows raised. "My sweet American girl, welcome to the dark side."
Hope laughed, head falling back as she moved away from her friend. She could feel a stare on her back, and knowing exactly who it was she turned in her seat to look back at Draco. The silver-white haired Slytherin looked back at her with a hidden smile in his eyes and a ghost of a smile on his lips. Hope could tell he was having trouble outwardly showing how he truly felt, and after what Hermione had told her the previous night, she couldn't blame him. Instead of saying anything or doing anything more she turned back toward the front of the room with her eyes looking forward. She was ready to start the class besides her very first friend at Hogwarts, excited to finally be able to laugh with him during regular school hours. During the past two weeks when she wasn't talking to Draco, Blaise was usually in the garden with her and Apollo. Meaning the two barely got any actual time with just the two of them.
But what shocked her, was when Draco whispered to the student next to him to switch seats with Hope. The tribrid's eyes widened as her body tensed lightly. Blaise only winked in her direction, most likely knowing exactly what their new arrangement was. He nodded at the tribrid, because even though he wanted to spend time with her, she was ultimately in a very much needed session of what he liked to think of as Draco Time.
