UNEDITED 31. Hogsmeade And Our Love
"You can't tell me that Blaise and Apollo getting together didn't surprise you!" Draco stared down at his girlfriend, the one person he had ever found that understood him more than he understood himself. Halfway through the train ride, Hope had suddenly sat up from her slumped position on Draco and looked him straight in the face. When they first got on the train the silver-white haired wizard had gotten her to sleep instead of having him tell her about how he had walked in on his best mate and his girlfriend's best mate, who he could have sworn had a crush on said girlfriend, in the middle of taking off the other's clothes. He would much rather forget that entire incident, but he could only get her to hold off for so long.
Hope shook his shoulders and pecked his face until the Slytherin finally gave in and told her the atrocious story. He shivered with disgust just thinking about it. Not that there was anything wrong with it, just the fact that it was his best mate who he had known since childhood. And the fact that he was making out with a guy who was trying to keep him away from Hope at one point. Although, the more he thought about it, the more it became rather obvious that his best mate was actually head over heels for the Ravenclaw. He can now remember the times when Blaise would skip out from hanging out with Draco to hang out with Apollo, or when they would all be together and Blaise would cater to Apollo more than anyone else. It was the small things that gave it off, and since no one was ever looking for it, it was never brought out to the light. Draco can remember Blaise telling another story about some girl from school that he had slept with, which always gave off the impression he had no one else in his eyes. Boy was Draco wrong about that one.
"It doesn't." The tribrid pouted, crossing her arms and falling across the lap of Draco with her front side facing him. He smiled down at her and traced her face lightly with his finger, eyes shining with love. "You've known them months, love. I've known them for years. Thinking about it, it was quite obvious for Blaise. But I am surprised about Apollo. I always uh- thought he had a crush on you."
Hope blinked her eyes in confusion, looking up at her boyfriend as if he had grown another head on his shoulder. He only nodded as a small blush crossed his cheeks. The tribrid tilted her head and thought back to every encounter she had had with the Ravenclaw, but none that screamed he's flirting with you came to mind.
"I don't see it."
Draco playfully scoffed, leaning back in his seat on the train and crossing his arms. He looked out at the trees passing in a blur, biting his bottom lip and letting out a loud sigh. His eyes flickered back down to Hope, who had raised a single brow at the wizard and squirmed in her seat. The wizard reached out and stopped her from moving, hand in between her legs, resting over her jean zipper. Hope stopped squirming and nervously looked up at the smirking Slytherin gazing down at her with lust written in his eyes.
