In this moment Hope Mikaelson hesitated looking up. She could see a big burly man looking down at her from afar. His nature held power.

He had auburn hair like Hope did, thick brows furrowed at the man looked the tribrid up and down. The man wore a red cape over a red tunic and brown pants.
A red and gold sword sported his hip. His hand rested on the sword as he watched the teen in front of him stumble forward.

The moment Hope looked up she saw her grandmother and father.

Her grandmother stood beside the muscular man with her hand on his arm and a soft smile. Beside her stood her father who smiled at his daughter.

"It's nice to see you again, father."

Hope looked from the man to her grandmother who had called him her father. Which would mean he would be her great grandfather.

"My daughter, how the times have brought us back together at last. Your mother would be so happy to see you."

Niklaus Mikaelson stepped toward his daughter slowly as to keep her from being spooked, hands in front of him as if saying he meant no harm.

"Hope."

"Dad."

Hope didn't know if it was some messed up dream, or if it were real. But it felt real, so she ran to her father and jumped into his arms.

"Little wolf. You've grown so much since I last saw you."

Hope pulled away slightly from her father looking down, "It's only been a year dad."

Niklaus let his hand cup his daughter's cheek with love and adoration in his eyes. He wanted her to know he loved her, more than he's ever loved anyone before.

"And you look like a young woman."

Hope laughed softly as she took her dad into another hug that she wished would last forever. But their moment was cut short when a throat was cleared behind them.

The tribrid looked past her father's body and at her grandmother and what seemed to be her great grandfather.

"My daughter, Esther, has told me so much about you child."

Hope narrowed her eyes at the woman, never forgetting the past when she tried to kill her.

"Did she mention when she tried to kill me? How wonderful of a grandmother she was."
