Chapter 9

*Two Days Later*

Alyssa's P.O.V.

I walked into my dark apartment and flipped on the switch. I was exhausted from work but I decided that I should clean my apartment because it was getting more and more messy as each day passed. The first thing I did was go into my bedroom and take my clothes off. I decided to change into something more comfortable so I put on some pajama shorts and a tank top. What I was wearing showed a lot of skin but I didn't care because I was all alone. I could just stay naked when I was at home but I liked having at least something on.

I put my hair up into a bun and washed my makeup off. I decided that I should start with the worst job first so that everything else would be easy. I cleared everything off of my bathroom counter and wiped it down. When I was done cleaning the bathroom, I went into the living room. I put my phone on shuffle and one of my all time favorite songs started playing.

"I dream at night, I can only see your face. Every breath you take, every move you make, every word you say, every step you take, I'll be watching you."

I thought that it was a very romantic song and it showed that the love this man had for this woman was so strong. I thought that it was sweet how he always wanted to look at her because she was so beautiful. I picked up some trash that was gathered on the floor and I sang along to the music as I cleaned my living room.

After a while I was all done cleaning my apartment so I decided to go to sleep.
