I start to wake up to the movements of someone walking. When I fully woke up, I realized that I was still in Bucky's arms while we were all walking to go I don't know where. I was really starting to get bored and nobody seemed to notice that I was awake.

"Where are we going?" I ask, rubbing my eyes.

"Hey Sleepy head, how do you feel?" The man carrying me says.

"I'm good but, where are we, who are all those people?" I demand pointing to all the soldiers that had been captured as much as Bucky by hydra behind us.

"That's our friends, they're not gonna hurt you, don't worry." Steve says with a comforting smile.

Why is it so colorful? Everything is different and new, what's that green stuff and that blue thing above us, what is that? What is it called? What is everything?

"What's all of this?" I say looking around me.

"What do you mean, sweetheart?" Steve asks me.

"This blue thing up there? What is it?"

The blond man didn't seem to understand so to help him I decided to point towards it. As my finger was still in the direction of the blue thing, the two men lift their heads up then down at me.

"You don't know what the sky is?" Bucky asks me.

"Is this the sky? It's even more beautiful than I thought" I say admiring it.

I then look everywhere to see the green stuff again.

"And what is that?" I couldn't control my eyes, they were amazed by everything they saw.

"That's a tree? Wait, Lydia, please answer this question honestly, alright?" Steve demands me.

I nod my head in agreement.

"Have you ever been outside before now?" I can see he is very serious.

"What is outside?"

Why do they always have to use such complicated words? I'm only 3!

"Honey, you're outside right now." Bucky tells me.

Wait, THIS is outside? I have to admit that outside is beautiful. No, gorgeous. Nah, stunning. But where am I going though?

"Where are we going?" I'm gonna get punched like always sooner or later because I ask too many questions.

"We're going home, doll." The brown hair man says.

"Home? What is home?"

It's so long before someone answers me. I feel like I'm gonna make them cry one day. But I just want to know everything so I'm not stupid like the Hydra guys told me.

"Home is the place where you can go whenever you want and feel safe. Somewhere where you don't have to worry about anything." Bucky says.

"Well, I don't have a home then." I say sadly.

"Don't worry about it, my home is your home" He continues smiling at me.

The rest of the trip stays pretty much silent unless when we take pauses because some soldiers are tired of walking. I don't know why but the friends of Bucky and Steve sometimes call me sunray and when I asked why they just told me that it's because I'm radiating happiness. I don't know what radiating mean but it's okay. We finally arrived at something that seemed alive. Lot of men then start running towards us, and applaud while walking past them. A way older man, maybe 50 or 60, come closer to Steve.

"Some of these men need medical attention." The Captain says.

"Right." The General turns to look at Bucky when his eyes landed on me. "Is that seriously a kid?"

"We couldn't let them die there." My saviour says.

"Alright Sergeant, but the child is your responsibility. I don't want her running everywhere and distracting my soldiers."

The old man walks away before a woman comes afterwards and they talk a little while I just look everywhere around me.

"HEY! Let's hear it for Captain America!" Bucky shout.

While everyone is cheering, I'm just hugging Bucky, happy that I'm not in Hydra anymore.
