We've been flying for some time now, in an uncomfortable silence. I'm still on my father's lap, cuddling with him. I was about to fall asleep when papa starts talking.
"What's gonna happen to your friends?"
"Whatever it is, I'll deal with it." Uncle Stevie replies.
"I don't know if I'm worth all of this, Steve." He says.
"You're worthy of anything in the whole world, papa. I promise." I say looking at him.
Nobody says something for a few seconds then Cap continues.
"What you did all those years, It wasn't you. You didn't have a choice."
"I know. But I still did it." He says feeling guilty.
Steve tries to find his words, not knowing what to say. My eyes are getting heavy and I'm really close to falling asleep now.
"Papa, don't worry, you're a good guy. Can I sleep now?" I say.
"Yes you can, sweetheart. There's still plenty of time ahead, sleep as long as you want." My dad tells me.
As soon as he answered me, I lay my head on his chest and let myself fall asleep to the sound of his heart. I feel myself getting softly shaken, I open my eyes to the sound of my father's voice.
"Come on Lydia, we're here."
I look around and see snow everywhere. My dad gets up after putting me down. I walk up to Uncle Steve and my dad both preparing themselves to fight the Zemo guy.
"Where can I find guns?" Papa asks.
"Take those ones. It's normally Natasha's but I guess it'll do for today." Steve answers.
He diriges himself to where Captain America told him the weapons were and my father takes one of them. We then all go stand in front of the Quinjet back door to get out. It opens, I was about to get out when Stevie starts talking while resting in place so I stop my movements.
"You remember that time we had to ride back from Rockaway Beach in the back of that freezer truck?"
"Was that the time you used our train money to buy hot dogs?" My father says, teasing his friend.
"You blew three bucks trying to win that stuff bear for a redhead." The other continues.
"What was her name again?"
"Dolores. You called her Dot." Steve answers.
"She's gotta be a hundred years old right now."
"So are we pal. So are we." He finishes.
There's a small silence before I start talking.
"One day, you guys really need to tell me all about your adventures when you were younger."
They both look at me and nod.
"Sure kid." Uncle Steve tells me. "Let's go!"
We all get off the Quinjet before looking a bit around. There's a lot of wind and it's very cold.
"He can't have been here more than a few hours." Steve says.
"That's long enough to wake them up." My dad adds.
We all walk towards the huge open doors that lead us directly to an elevator. It's small and we're all close to each other. It's quiet, the only thing going on is my dad and Uncle Stevie looking at each other before nodding. The elevator finally stops and we step out along a wall on our guard. Papa leads the way, I'm right behind him and Steve closes the line. We arrive at the stairs. As we begin to climb them, a loud noise is heard. We turn around and prepare to attack whoever is there.
