The Assassin Shadow - Bucky Barnes

Chapter 13

We all arrive in position, we watch Steve through a window running to the helicopter while Sam searches for the special plane with his drone that he calls 'Red wing'. Uncle Stevie was about to reach the chopper when two flying machines landed in front of him. When the two machines take their helmet off and then they start talking.

"What are they saying?" Sam asks.

"I don't know, what do you think I am? A professional lip reader?" My dad answers.

"Geez, you're on the nerves."

My father just rolled his eyes before looking back at Steve. I find it so funny how they seem to just always argue with each other. The Black Panther appears next to who I suppose is Tony Stark. Then the redhead woman that helped me before appeared behind Captain America. My idol betrayed me? Then all of a sudden a web grab Stevie's shield and a guy in a red and blue suit with a spider on the chest takes hold of it.

"I found it!" Sam says.

"Where is it?" Papa asks.

"Somewhere."

"Really?" My dad sighs.

"We found it." Sam says on the comms to Steve. "Their Quinjet's in hangar five, north runway."

Steve puts his arms in the air and Clint shoots one of his arrows to break the web on Cap's hand. Then Scott was hiding in his mini form on the shield and came back in his true form kicking the blue and red guy in the face. He takes the shield and gives it back to his owner.

"Come on, we have to run! They are going to come for us." Sam tells us.

We do as Sam says but not long after the guy in a blue-red suit lands on the window and walks on it like a spider.

"What the hell is that?" My dad asks.

"Papa! Don't say bad words!" I scold him.

"Not the time , Lydia!"

So upset over nothing, I thought.

"Everyone got a gimmick now." Sam says.

The guy makes a swing with webs before breaking the window by going inside and hitting Sam at the same time. As my dad and I were already ahead since we didn't stop running, my father comes back and tries to punch the, probably, teenager but he stops his fist. HOW CAN HE STOP HIM!? I'm pretty sure that papa is the strongest man ever! Or maybe I just think that because he's my father? Nah! He's the strongest. But the man did stop him.

"You have a metal arm? That is awesome dude!" The boy says. "Your team has a kid too?!" He says, looking at me.

My dad is as confused as me but Falcon runs towards us and picks the spider boy up and flies with him. He passed right over me, it was so dangerous!

"Hey! Be careful, Bird!" I shout at Sam.

I think he heard me because he faked a laugh.

"I love this nickname, kid! I'm always going to use it now!" My father says.

The boy in Sam's arms starts to struggle.

"You have the right to remain silent!"

Who does he think he is? A police officer? Sammy finally lets him go. As fighting and explosions are heard outside, we continue to run for our lives. The spider boy has caught up with us. My dad and I hide behind a pillar. Sam started flying and the guy tried to grab him. I don't know how but he knew that I threw a scrap at him with my powers. When my dad leaned to look if I hitted the guy, the man started speaking.

"Hey buddy! I think you lost this!" Spider boy shouts.

Papa pulls his head back fast enough to avoid being hit by the object. Sam pushes the boy again but he escapes from the black guy's hold. The man in the red-blue suit shoots webs over the falcon's wings so that he can no longer fly. Sam lands flat on the ground and when he gets up, the teenager prevents him from moving by webbing him on the glass fence. Sam and the boy start speaking and when we arrive close enough I can hear what they say.
