I start to wake up but my vision is blurry, probably because of what the soldier injected me with. There's not a single sound, everything is quiet. I'm in a black cold room lying on the frosting floor. It's like a cage. My eyes are starting to see normally again. I can hear someone approaching and it can't be good. The door unlock, I try to run and escape but the guard grab my arm thighly. It's so tight that it hurts. He drags me to another room full of machines. I recognize this, I remember all of this. That's where they tested and experimented on me. There is no way I'm going through that again.

"Put her on it." A scientist says.

I struggle to get out of the guard's hold. I then scream for help and bite his arm. He slaps me and puts me on the table violently.

"We can start the process now. The Assassin Shadow project can begin."

A machine next to me begins to get closer. It injects me with a blue liquid that hurts me. I feel like someone is pinching me with all their forces all over my body. I try to not demonstrate to them that it hurts me but it's so hard, tears forming in my eyes. When everything stop, a soldier tries to grab me, I push him across the room. My eyes and the eyes of everyone in the room widden. Since when am I that strong? My breath is heavy and fast. I don't understand. Every single person in the room is scared or shocked except for one man. Schmidt has a smirk mark on his face.

"The serum worked! I thought it would kill her but it works on a child too. She's gonna be the strongest."

What is he talking about? It's true that I feel stronger. Not long after, a pain reaches the back of my neck, a scientist has just injected me with something that made me feel weak and suddenly everything is blurry. I can't do anything with my body, it's like I don't have any control over it. I feel someone take me over their shoulder to take me somewhere else. I'm thrown into a new cell. It's lighter and warmer. Even if it's lovely with my own little bed and a little lamp on a white desk, it can't be good. But for now, I'm just gonna sleep because I'm so tired of everything. I fell asleep without a minute. I don't think that they let me sleep very long because I can see on the clock that the hands didn't move a lot since the last time I looked at it.

"Well well look who finally woke up." Johann says.

I don't reply, I simply look at him.

"You're going to pass another test today." He continues smirking.

I can't say anything, I'm too scared.

"The silent treatment I see, it doesn't matter, come now!" The chief of Hydra orders.

I don't wait too long afraid of what could happen to me if I don't do as I'm told. While I'm walking to the experiment room, I have guards all around me to stop me from escaping. Sometimes they push me because they think I'm too slow. We finally arrive and they don't waste one moment to toss me into the room befors closing the door. There's nothing except for two shiny stones. One yellow and one purple. I know they're powerful, it's just obvious but how did Hydra got them? To be honest, I don't even want to know. A screeching sound floods the room then I hear a man's voice, Dr. Arnim Zola voice.

"Kid, touch one of the stones." The voice tells me to do.

But I'm smarter than them, if they ask me to touch only one then I'll touch both. I won't follow their rules so I win. I am only a kid and I have more intelligence than a grown man, wow. So I walk towards them and I stretch my arms to touch them. As I touch the stones, I feel how powerful they are. The room is filled with their yellow and purple glow. It's blinding but I can't keep my eyes off of them. It's hypnotising. I then see a woman, or a teenager I don't really know but she's older than me, floating towards me. She's in a beautiful but strange outfit. I'm about to see her face when I get struck by a blast of power and everything becomes black.

"Sir? Wasn't the power stone supposed to burn her? I mean, our guys burned themselves bringing it here." Zola says.

"Well, she's the chosen one" Schidmt says, smirking. "When she wakes up, make her practice her new abilities."

I must've been sleeping for a long time because the guard felt asleep too. I know I can't escape since there's probably two more guards outside my cell. I can still try. I wait a little bit in front of the sleeping guard to be sure that he won't wake up. After being sure, I take the key from the guard's pocket. I unlock the door and start sprinting. I was right because two guards grab me to stop me from escaping. That's when I remember that they gave me the same serum that Steve has. I push one with all the strength I have, then I turn towards the other and I reach out as if to strike the guard's chest, but he is thrown across the hall by a blast of purple power from my hand. How did I do this? I look at my hands and wonder how could I do such a thing? A part of me is worried and the other part of me is excited that I can do amazing things.

"Well, well look who discovered her incredible powers!" Schmidt says, looking at his guards.

I look at him scared.

*When Lydia's going to work for me she's going to be unbeatable. She'll be the future of Hydra.*

"I'll never work for you and I certainly won't be the future of your crazy team." I confidently say.

"Reading minds, that's great. You are going to be my best asset." A smirk that reaches his ears appears on his face. "Guards! Put her in the ice!"

Put me in the ice, what?! I'm gonna die! They give me something to feel weak so that the guards can take me to the machines room. They toss me into one and they activate a lever. The thing started to get really cold when steam filled the little space I have and then everything disappeared to let the darkness take over my vision.
