It's been like two or three months since I first started school and I am still hating it. Even though Reyna Bowman, the only nice girl in my class, and I became good friends. She's very nice, but unfortunately it's not one person's friendship that makes the hell I'm in any better. Last night, Stark and two strangers, Carol and Nebula, returned from space. We thought maybe he turned to dust like the others, but in the end he came back. But for now, we're all listening to Nebula talking about Thanos. Well, except for Tony because he went a little wild this morning, but that's a long story. I try to focus as best I can, but end up tuning them out. I'm in my own world, in my own thoughts, until a hologram of Earth appears.

"When Thanos snapped his fingers, Earth became ground zero for a power surge of ridiculously cosmic proportions. No one's ever seen anything like it. Until two days ago..." Rocket says before zooming on another planet. I'll just act like I understood what he said. "On this planet."

"Thanos is there." Nebula states.

Nat leans on the table to get a better look. "He used the stones again."

"Hey, wait. We'd be going shorthanded, you know?" Banner tries to reason with everybody.

Rhodey takes a step to grab everyone's attention. "Look, he still got the stones so..."

"So, let's get them. Use them to bring everyone back." Captain Marvel says.

"Just like that?" Bruce asks, clearly not agreeing.

"Yeah, Just like that." Steve answers.

I can't get my hopes up, my dad is gone and I just need to accept it. "Even if there's a small chance that we can undo this, we have to try. I mean, we owe it to everyone who's not in this room." Natasha says, putting a hand on my shoulder. Maybe I can hope, I mean will it really hurt me? If it does work, my papa would be with me again. So will Shuri and T'Challa. And also everyone else. Everything could go back to normal. I smile to myself thinking about the great life I had before.

"If we do this, how do we know it's gonna end any differently than it did before?" Bruce asks. Wow, thanks for ruining my mood.

"Because before you didn't have me." Carol says.

"Hey, new girl. Everybody in this room is about that superhero life and if you don't mind my asking, where the hell have you been all this time?" Rhodes provocatively says.

She gives him a 'you're dumb' smile. "There are a lot of other planets in this universe. And unfortunately, they didn't have you guys." Captain Marvel finishes.

Thor stands up and he and Carol come face to face. He raises his arm and waits for Stormbreaker, I think that is what he calls it. When it finally came in his hand, it was right next to her face but she didn't move. Not a single muscle moved. Thor then looked at her attentively for a couple seconds. "I like this one."

We all stood there, not really knowing how to react to this interaction. "Let's go get this son of a bitch." Uncle Steve says.

"Language." I scold him. He looks at me with an annoyed face. "What? I can't even say "fudge" because you say I mean something else."

"Doesn't matter. Everyone suits up. We'll meet at the Quinjet." He says.

(Timeskip)

We are all in the Quinjet and we just entered space. I look everywhere around me and I'm fascinated by everything.

"Okay, who here hasn't been to space?" Rocket asks everyone. Steve, Nat, Rhodey and I lift our hand. Carol chuckles a little. "Alright, you better not throw up on my ship." He warns us.
