Enoch POV
"I-I don't love you anymore." I watched her as tears fell. Normally I'd pull her in my arms and comfort her but I just watched as she turned away from me and ran back to the others. After waking up and the two of us realizing Val and Elizabeth tricked us, Sam looked at me dead in the eyes, 'that bitch will die. Tonight.'
It was true; I didn't love her anymore. I could feel something inside of me still screaming for her but I easily ignored it. But every time I looked at her, I could feel the power. I wasn't sure what she got from me; but I could feel her, I knew this wasn't all of it, but I couldn't bring myself to see what else I could do to her. I looked around and saw the flower on the porch in full bloom, shimmering so bright. Every step Sam or I took, we were pushed back by Emma's wind and Olive scorching the grass.
"You did it Sam." She said, stepping off the porch, the flower glowed brighter. I saw them both step back, hearing Sam mock her, "Did what? Win?" I rushed towards her, grabbing her in my arms. A flash of me lifting her as we laughed. She squirmed in my arms as I brought her to Sam.
"No. You lost...because he doesn't love me anymore." Sam laughed as he began rolling up his sleeves, suddenly turning pale. In Elizabeth's hand was one of my hearts. Beating...
"What...NO!" Sam started reaching out to her as she spun around, grabbing my shirt and closing her eyes. A bright light illuminated around us as we looked at each other, memories blasting in my skull;
"Hi, I'm Elizabeth.'
"Enoch, you wanted to see me?"
"That was...Amazing,"
"Hello, Doll..."
"I-I don't love you anymore."
I watched as the organ started disintegrating into nothing but ash as I looked at Elizabeth once more. We were bonded, but stronger. Stronger than what Sam ever experienced. I stumbled back, feeling Jake's and Val's arms catching me before dragging me into the house. I squinted my eyes as they left until I was knocked out.

I woke up a while later groaning sitting up noticing I was on my bed. I looked around, taking everything in until she crossed my mind; Elizabeth! I jumped up, ran to the mirror, and touched my face in awe. I no longer felt rotten. I didn't care about souls and I touched my chest, noticing a small burn scar where Elizabeth grabbed me. Did she? I barged into Elizabeth's room unknowing what I would say but I just wanted to see her. I wanted to apologize. To tell her it was me again. I hated myself remembering every moment, but I just needed her. Her room was neatly cleaned, but she wasn't asleep in bed. I ran downstairs as quickly as I could, searching every room until I stopped in the dining room, watching everyone stop eating to look at me. Where was she?
"Ah, Enoch, glad to see you pulled through." Mrs. P smiled, and I took my seat, looking at Val. Jake looked awkward as he was bringing me up to speed and I couldn't blame him. I looked down at my plate before asking, my voice cracking as I tried my best, "Where is she?"
Everyone looked away from me, and my heart started pounding faster. What did I do? I looked at Olive, who smiled sadly as I gulped nervously to hear their answer.
"Is she..." I couldn't finish the sentence fearing listening to the truth.
"She's not dead. She's physically fine, but it's obvious the past twenty-fours took a lot out of her." Olive spoke up, and I looked back down. I heard shuffling and the backdoor opening, hearing Emma softly talking to someone before they joined us at the dining table. My breath hitched as I saw my darling. Her skin wasn't a lively pale but sickly. Her eyes were hollow and no longer piercing, but broken. She looked up at me and for a moment, I saw her eyes light up before crashing back down. What I focused on was the fact I could feel her life essence; just like how she always described what she saw when reading auras I could see hers around her heart. It was a dark gray with the white flowing out almost like wings. Where are we still bonded? I assume so... where's the flower?
"Were still bonded," I whispered and Elizabeth looked surprised before she turned her head and whispered to Emma. Emma looked concerned, replying as they sat down. After breakfast, I tried to follow Elizabeth when she went upstairs before Emma stopped me.
"I wouldn't Enoch. Do you remember anything from when you were with Sam?" Emma asked and I looked distraught as I nodded. 'I-I don't love you anymore.'
"She's hurting. Give her time.' Emma patted my shoulder, then I slowly walked upstairs. As I reached the top of the stairs, I saw her in her room on her bed, holding a wilted flower. Our flower. I held my breath, and she looked up at me. She slowly stood up, walked to her door and glared looking at me.
"Elizabeth...I-" I lifted my hand to touch her face as she slammed the door in my face. I understood and sulked in my room. Weeks went by as Val and Jake kept keeping me from doing something I'd regret, but most nights I'd lock myself either trashing my room or drinking heavily. Soon I went from moping to self-anger. How could I do this to her? Elizabeth slowly gained herself, healing her heart as mine started breaking.
