The First Visit

|Ally's P.o.v.|

My breath quickens as I shoot up from my sleep, sweaty and feeling disoriented. I steady my breathing as I look around the sunlit room. I wouldn't admit it, but what occurred two nights ago startled me to the core. I wasn't affected by the people gone although Randall and Rachael felt the pain, but how everything happened, the bashing of heads, haunts me.

I believe Negan is a dangerous man, he scares me a bit knowing he can do that to me or my brothers. I also believe he had every right to do what he did. Rick killed a whole bunch of his people so he did what anyone would do, got revenge. As long as I do what Negan asks, he won't touch me. Although, it's the thought that he still could.

I get up and dressed for the day, a grey tshirt with black jeans and sneakers. I tie my blonde hair up while glancing over my features in the mirror. The blackness from being punched is starting to fade, but the scabbing from my busted lip is still there. Hailey is glad she's pregnant, if not she wouldn't know what's coming.

"Afternoon." Spencer chuckles as I enter the living room. My brother is gathering a bag with a gun in his hand. I wonder what he's doing.

"I slept that late?" I ask shocked.

"Yeah, thought you needed it after..." my brother says trailing off. "Ally, I'm sorry again-"

"Spencer, I told you before I'm okay and there's nothing to be sorry for." I cut him off before he says the same thing he's been saying since yesterday. He feels some type of way that I was out there and had to see what I saw. I get it though, he doesn't want to lose his little sister, but he needs to stop worrying.

I direct my gaze to the bag and point to the gun in his hand, "Going somewhere?"

Spencer nods his head emptying the bag of whatever was in there, "Rosita and I are heading out for supplies, should be back before sunset. Tell Alexander."

Rick has some of the adults going out to scavenge for Negan, which is the first best call I think he's had so far. I watch as my brother slings the bag around his shoulder and heads for the door in which I follow him. I understand he has to go out, but I still don't like saying goodbye. As we reach the door Spencer stops and places his hand on my shoulder, looking into my eyes.

"If they come and anything goes wrong, you know where the hidden guns are right?" He asks. Spencer hid some guns and a stash of food in an air vent awhile back after Rick took over. He wants us to be prepared because he doesn't trust the man just as much as I do. I'm the only one who knows of this though, because Alexander is too much like our mom to understand why.
