"Baby, I love you so much. I will never let you go. Ever." Carl whispers in my ear as he holds my shaking body.

"I'm so sorry." I whimper.

|Hailey's P.o.v.|

"What the fuck happened!?" I question. I look around the Church expecting an answer out of any body. I pinch the bridge of my nose as I kneel down to Randall.
"Who did this to you and Bob?" I ask him. He licks his busted lip and gulps before saying anything. "They call themselves the Hunters."
"It's Gareth from Terminus, they found us and they are seeking revenge." Bob weakly chimes in. He sighs, "They ate my leg right infront of me like it was nothing."

Terminus...the place where I saw my brother die infront of my face.

"Guys, get the medicine. I'm sure we-"

"No." Bob calls out stopping Sasha from getting the medicine. She looks at him confused on why he would'nt want the medicine, and quite frankly so am I.
"Save it for Randy." He says revealing a bite mark on his shoulder. "It happened at the food bank" He sighs. Sasha starts crying and hugs Bob tightly.

"This is bull shit!" I shout standing up as I throw my hands into the air.
"This is never ending!"

I am so damn tired of this fucking world, surviving is fucking pointless if we all are going to end up dying anyway!

"Hailey what are you talking about?" Maggie asks calmly.

"This!" I shout using my hands to point at everything.

"The dead, killing, people, trying to fight to stay alive in a world that is already dead. A world where if you're not killed by the dead you're killed by the living. What's the fucking point!" I yell running my hands through my hair. Carl rushes over and grabs my arms, pulling them to my sides.

"Do you see that sleeping baby over there?" He asks pointing to Judith, who is surprisingly sleeping peacefully in a basket.

"Do you see Maggie and Glenn who could possibly repopulate?"
Carl grabs both of my hands and intertwines our fingers. "Do you see us?" He asks looking into my blue eyes with his.

"That's the point." He whispers. His eyes were making me choke up so I forcefully snatch my hands away and storm off, sitting on one of the pues.

"What is going on with you?" I hear. I turn my head to see Carl standing there.

"Nothing." I tell him.

"Why are you being distant?"

Really? Fucking really!?

"My brother died infront of me Carl! My only blood family!" I yell

"Okay? And!? My fucking mother died infront of me and I'm not acting like a stuck up bitch!" He snaps.
"Really!? Oh really Carl because I recall you becoming a jack ass and then breaking up with me! And you still had your father and your sister, it's different!" I yell standing up.

"How different Hailey?  Because the fact is we both had someone who we loved so much die infront of our own fucking eyes regardless of who the fuck we had left! People are going to die and we aren't in control of that! Get over it!" He screams, his words spitting out like venom causing me to feel numb.

"So, my brother died a couple days ago and you want me to get over it now, like it's no fucking big deal!?" I scream at him. He closes his eyes and opens them again, "I didn't mean it like that." He lowers his tone.

"You know what Carl, go fuck yourself." I say before walking to the other side of the Church which happens to be darker than the other. I lay down on the floor and start crying silently.

This is too much...

I shut my eyes tightly to try and keep the tears in, which sent me into another world. The only place to escape this world, my dreams.

|Carl's P.o.v.|

I sigh walking back to my dad. He puts his hand on my shoulder and squeezes it reassuringly.

"They're on their way Rick, we have to get ready." Bob tells dad. "Okay we will handle it, Ty and Sasha can you bring Bob into that room. Carl, you help Rachael get Randall in."

I pick Randall up by his feet and his sister gets the other half. Once Bob is in there we bring Randall in and lay him on one of the couches in there.

"Carl." Rachael says getting my attention. I look at her, she seems to not be that worried about him. Well, honestly it could be worse.

"I'm sorry for everything...back at the prison, just everything."

I knew she was sorry, we all make mistakes.

"I accept your apology." I give a small smile. "I know what I did isn't okay and you don't have to pretend it is, but lets just try to move past it. In this world you need all the people you can get to have your back you know?...We can't help each other survive if we want to kill each other ourselves." She laughs. "Yeah." I agree.
I know Rachael, the things she told me she has been through with her old group. I know she's not a bad person, I can't hold who she was in the past against her now because people change.

"Hey!" We hear Glenn shout. Rachael and I walk out and see Glenn in between my dad and Abraham. What the hell?

"I am trying to save your asses! Us sticking around, putting Eugene in danger could risk it all." Abraham tells Glenn, but referring to all of us in this Church. "But you think taking off in the middle of the night, no where to stay, is safer then staying here?" Glenn asks making a great point.

"If you stay and help fight these people I will go with you to Washington and help you protect Eugene." Tara, who at one point was with the governor, spoke up. I don't think she should go with them, but it's her choice I guess. Abraham looks at her convinced, but then back at Glenn unsatisfied. "Glenn and Maggie too." He says.

"No deal!" My dad butts in. "Then I guess we shall be on our way. Rosi-"

"Okay, we...we will go." Glenn cuts off Abraham. He seems unsure about this, but Glenn is that type of person who would risk everything he has for this group and Maggie. I admire that. Glenn looks at my dad and nods.

"Alright let's make a plan."

.~.~.~.~.~.~.

"When we leave, get in your spots and be quiet." Dad tells everyone who was staying at the Church which was me of course with Judith, Hailey, Tyreese, Eugene Rachael, and Rosita along with Bob and Randall in that room because they obviously cannot fight if they tried right now. The rest were going out to make it seem like they were searching for the hunters, when really they were just waiting for them to come to the Church. That part of the group left so I grabbed Judith and made my way over to where Hailey was sleeping. I shake her awake and watch as her beautiful eyes that some how manage to sparkle even in her darkest moments open. I don't think she wants to be around me after our fight, but I don't care. I need to keep her safe. Hailey sits up and goes to speak but I shush her.

"The Terminus people are on their way here, we made a plan and we need to stay here and be quiet." I sum it up for her. She sighs and takes her knife out of her belt and lays her back against the wall. I sit next to her and place Judith in between us. I look at Hailey and it's sad. I can see how drained she is and it kills me that she isn't allowing me to help her. I want to and I am trying, but she is making it so damn hard. She's worth it though, she will always be worth it to me.

The Church doors being swung open snapped me into reality and the thoughts of murdering these people flooded my mind.

Here's another fight and we will win it.
