|Carl's P.o.v.|

I bust the Church doors open with my foot and run Hailey in. For some reason lots of walkers were outside so Randall was taking care of them.
"Carl, what the hell happened!?" Rachael asks standing up. "I have no idea...just, just help her." I lay Hailey on a pue and let Rachael take a look. I look at my arms and they are covered in the broken girls blood.

"Carl! We need help!" I hear Randall shout. I don't see Michonne in here so she must be helping him. I look at Judith in the basket and as if it was on cue the baby started crying.
Oh fuck.

"Gabriel, take care of Judith I have to help outside."

"B-But I.." He stutters like the pathetic wuss he is.
"That wasn't a question, it was an order."

I grab my gun from the holster and run out of the Church shooting down walkers. Judiths loud screams could be heard from a mile away which only made our situation a lot worse. More and more walkers were coming and I started thinking maybe this wouldn't have happened if Glenn and them didn't leave. Tires colliding with dirt and gravel suddenly filled our ears and before we knew it a fire truck came crashing into the front of the Church, not too much to harm the survivors inside the Church or in the truck. Abraham and the rest come out and helped fight off the rest of the walkers until there were none left.

"Why are you guys back?" I ask Glenn.

"Son of a bitch lied to us. There is no cure." Abraham said with flushed cheeks. I shoot my gaze to the liar with a mullet sitting cowardly in the truck and it all started to make sense. He just needed someone to protect him, he couldn't do it on his own. Something him and the priest have in common.

"Where's the rest of the group?" Glenn asks. I direct my gaze towards Maggie who is wondering the same thing.

"Beth is alive. We found Beth, they went to get her." Michonne states. Maggie's smile some what brightened this dark world, but only for a moment.

"Hailey is awake." Rachael calls out. I look at Maggie who now seems concerned before we all make our way into the Church.

"Oh my gosh what happened?" Maggie rushes to her side. Haileys head is wrapped, along with her arm and the bandage on her face is clean and new. "Maggie." Hailey wraps her arms around her and Maggie does the same. "What happened?" She asks again pulling away.

"I-..." Hailey trails off as she looks at her arm. "I didn't mean to." She looks up at Maggie with tears in her eyes and it nearly breaks my heart.

"I-I was hearing voices in my head. James, Hershel, my dad...they were telling me to-"

"Hailey, it's okay. You're okay and that's all that matters." Maggie says rubbing her back. Hailey nods and looks around seeing everyone. "Why are you back?" She asks.

"There isn't a cure, but Beth is alive so I'm glad we're back." Glenn tells her. "Speaking of that we should get going, meet up with them at the hospital." Michonne speaks up. Everyone leaves to pack up except for Hailey, so I stay too.

"Woah, be careful." I grab her arm as she tries to stand but stumbles. "Carl, I'm fi-"

"No Hailey, cut the bull shit." I say. She looks taken back by what I said but it's about time I say it. "Obviously you aren't fine. You cut yourself and ran off into the woods!"
"I didn't even know I did." She says yanking her arm back. "But you did babe. It was in your head. What the hell even happened out there!?" I ask. She looks down at her feet and shrugs, "I don't want to talk about it right now."

"Okay..." I say as I gently pull her into a hug and place my chin on her head. I was going to continue what I needed to say but it was time to go and all of us piled up into that small as fire truck.
