The party was sitting on the bleachers in the gym waiting for hopper and Joyce to get back. El was still exhausted but it wasn't as bad as before. Tk and Lucas were reading an x man comic together when mike suddenly stands up and leaves the gym.
" they're gone." mike started walking towards them.
" what?" Lucas asked, handing the comic to Tk so he could put it away.
" Nancy and Jonathan. his car's gone.'' Mike stated.
" they're probably just sucking face somewhere." Dustin jokes, which causes Tk to laugh, and mike glares at him.
" gross"
" no. no way!"
" I thought she was dating Steve Harrington?" Tk spoke turning to Lucas who just shrugged.
" Did they go with the chief?" Dustin questioned.
" I don't think they did. I mean, I didn't see them get in the car." Tk informed them.
" no." El asserted.
" what? Did you see them? Do you know where they went?" Mike asked the girl. all of them turned to her waiting for her answer.
"yes"
" where? where did they go?''Mike pressed on.
all of them turned their heads towards eleven eagerly waiting for her answer. all she said was ' Demogorgon'. It didn't take a genius to figure out that Nancy and Jonathan went looking for the Demogorgon. Tk just hoped that they would be okay.
The boys minus El were now off the bleachers trying to figure out what to do. Some of them wanted to wait and others wanted to leave.
" Guys, guys! This is crazy. we can't just wait around." mike tried to reason with them.
" Mike, in case you forgot, we're still fugitives. the bad men are still looking for us," Lucas spoke.
" yeah, and we don't even know where your sister is,'' Dustin added.
" El can find them," Mike told his friends.
" Mike, look at her!" Tk said pointing at El, who had her knees up to her chest and was rocking back and forth. "I think we should listen to what my uncle said and stay here"
" exactly. We stay here, keep El out of sight and keep her safe. That's the most important thing, remember.?" Lucas spoke, agreeing to what Tk had previously said. " Besides, she's okay. She's with Jonathan."
" Yeah, she's kind of a badass now, so-" Dustin said, trailing off and walking away from the group.
" well, where are you going? you just said stick to the plan!" mike called out to Dustin who continued to walk away.
" I am. I'm just gonna go get some chocolate pudding. I'm telling you, lunch lady Phillis hoards that shit.'' Dustin called back to him, which caught the attention of Lucas and Tk.
