Just like on any other unlucky day, Yn helped Eda at her human collectibles stand in the market. Well, he didn't really help. He sat on a chair and leaned back with his legs on the desk and his hands behind his back, while Eda did all the work.
He was just there for moral support.
"Partake of my free snack samples!" King demanded, holding up a tray of mostly inedible looking things. Yn opened his eyes and looked at the demon with a raised eyebrow.
"Take it! I demand it as your ruler, the King of Demons!"
Several peopled passed the stand but none of them even looked at King. This made the small demon angry. He smashed the tray onto the ground and let out an annoyed grunt.
"Why is no one paying Attention to me?! I'm their rightful overlord. Intellectually and such!" King crossed his arms and sat down, hearing a snort behind him.
"Intellectually he says." Yn said with a smirk. King turned to the teen with a glare. "You don't even know how to spell that word."
"Yes I do!" King exclaimed.
"Prove it." Yn smirked, crossing his arms as he leaned closer to King.
"I...N...T..E..." King began to stammer, before shouting:"-llectually!" That just made Yns smirk grow wider. The teen leaned back
"Knew it."
Suddenly King lunged at Yn, tackling him to the ground. Eda took her sunglasses off and looked at the two, fighting. She watched for a few minutes with an amused smile until Yn stood back up.
He had several scratch marks on his face and held the small demon by his collar, glaring at him. "Why?"
"That's what you get for disrespecting the King of Demon's!" King exclaimed pumping his paws into the air.
"Alright, I thank you two for the show but let's get back to what King was saying for a moment, alright?" Eda looked around with a suspicious look. "Somethings off." She quickly grabbed a passenger by the cowl and sniffed them. "It reeks more of nerd than money today."
Yn looked at Eda with a thoroughly confused expression. "And you sniffed them for what?"
Before Eda could answer Luz popped up and slammed her hands on the table scaring everyone and causing Eda to let go of the random citizen.
"Guys! You will not believe what's going on!" Luz excitedly exclaimed.
"Did they find the corpses?" Yn asked, putting King on the table. Everyone looked at him with a questioning or shocked expression.
"Aw come on guys. It obviously was a joke..." Yn crossed arms.
"Anyways." Luz quickly ran up to a banner that read BOOK FAIR and posed under it. "It's book fair! Where books come to life!"
A book jumped off a stand and landed next to Yn. "Hello."
The teen raised an eyebrow and looked at the book. "I don't think she meant literally, bud."
