Almost Alone Day

Yn opened his eyes, finding himself in the dark void once again. And like always, when he has this 'dream', the only other person here is his 'other self' the one that he first saw after he turned the first time. It's gotten more frequent after they escaped the emperor. And each time his other self had turned a little more.

The last time he saw him, he just had the claw - though a bigger one than Yn - and scales all over his body, just as two small horns on his head. Tonight, had changed once more. Two claws, one a little bigger than the other, two horns and his legs turned as well, his pants got ripped a little and his shoes where gone. And like always, his other self, just stared at Yn through orange eyes, that seemed a little too big for his face. He just cocked his head to the side and stared at Yn, withouth changin expression. A cold expression, deprived from any emotion. Or was it? Yn could've sworn, that he saw a hint of curiosity in the eyes of his other self.

He sighed and stepped forward, and for the first time ever, his other self took a step back. He hummed in confusion and tilted his head to the side. That was weird. Did it start to actually notice what happened? Normally, his other self was more like a lifeless being, that wandered around aimlessly, but tonight it was different, like it slowly started to become alive. Like it developed alongside him.

He shook his head and suddenly, the void got filled by an irritatingly bright light, that forced him to raise his arm to cover his eyes.

The sun shined on Yn's face, forcing him to wake up. He groaned and sat
up, causing the blanket and Scylla to fall off him as he stretched his arms out. He yawned and looked over at Luz, only to see that her bed was empty. He hummed. She probably just woke up already.

Shrugging he stood up, careful to not wake Scylla, who fell asleep again - could Palismen even sleep? Even if not, he didn't want to disturb her, so he just went over to the Echo Mouse's terrarium, leaned down and carefully scratched the glass. "Good Morning, bud", he said smiling, but the mouse just shrieked at the sight of him and hid away, making Yn sigh. "Am I really that scary?" That's when he saw his reflection. He always took of his concealment stone, when he went to sleep and so, since he didn't put it back on yet, half face was was covered in scales and a small horn began to show in his head. He shook his head an turned around.

He quickly changed out of his pajamas and into his normal clothes; a simple jeans, the hoodie Eda made him and some simple running shoes. The last item he added, was his concealment stone, which he hid under his hoodie. He took his phone and opened the front camera, to look at himself. The scales and horn were gone - well more like hidden - but his orange eye and fang still were there.

Well, he decided that he wanted them to not get hidden, because he actually kinda liked that look, but how would his dad react to this? He shook his head. Now was not the time to think about that. Yn had enough on his mind already. Getting Home, trying to learn to control his transformation, the whole stuff with Yuhria. He sighed and put his phone into his pocket, before walking out the room.

"Morning", he said, when entering the living room. Confused, he looked around a little when he noticed that mobody was there. "Huh, hey Hooty", he called out. "Where is everybody?"

The door opened, revealing Hooty. "Eda, Luz and King are out and Yuhria went to meet someone, hoot!"

"Do you know when they'll come Back?"
