“What about this?” I threw a cream-colored dress behind my back.

“Nope., Tory replied. I groaned and continued looking through my mom's old collectibles. I found some reds and blacks. I kept throwing dresses at him and he kept declining.

“This looks good.” He spoke. I whirled around and glanced at the piece of white material in his hand. It looked stretchy. I had made a mess of my mum's closet but not that I cared. I immediately went to my room and tried it on. My mom was definitely skinny. And I was worse. It fit but when I looked in the mirror, I saw myself for the first time. Behind all those loose shirts and pants, I was nothing but skin and bones. I used to rock these kinds of dresses. But now, I looked weird. So I instantly changed back and went outside.

“What? I wanted to see.” Tory exclaimed.

“It didn’t look good.” I threw it inside the closet.

“Try this one then.” He handed me a black bodycon dress.

“Maybe something that isn’t such form-fitted” I spoke and he caught on. Tory was quick-witted. He picked on everything quickly.

“Should’ve told me before. I found just the thing.” He picked a silver-grey dress and it kind of reminded me of Silver's fur.

I put it on and smiled. It had one shoulder strap and ended above my knees. But there was just a minor problem.

“My half-shaven legs are showing. Let me shave up to my knees too.” I told him as I walked inside the bathroom.

“Sure, let me see what kind of makeup you have. And I  approve of the dress.” He shouted from mom's room. I had a tiny bit of makeup and that wasn’t going to cut it. So my mom's old and most probably expired things were getting used. When I shaved my legs, I walked back inside my room to see him changed into the clothes he bought for himself. It was a sheer black sleeveless top and his sleeve tattoo was a shock to me. And then so was the eyeliner on his eyes and the blush around his nose and the chokers and the earnings. My mouth dropped. He looked fucking feral. I never thought someone could look as good as he did in those black clothes.

“What?” He laughed seeing my face.

“You look amazing,” I spoke and he gave me a bow. I walked next to his talk frame and looked at myself. And made the most disgusting face. He laughed loudly and picked up the hairbrush. I didn’t had time to say anything as he started brushing my hair and putting it in a high and flawless ponytail. I tried to conceal my dark circles as he finished off the pony.

“This is turning grey,” I whined, handing him the concealer. He shook his head and made me face him.

“Here is a trick.” He picked up a shadow pallet. “Pick a color.” I pointed at the lavender-looking one. He started applying it under my eye. I was a bit flabbergasted at what he was doing. And then he continued doing my makeup, from my eyeliner to my soft pink lipstick. I had a question but I wanted to ask him in a way to not offend him.

“Can I ask you something?” I started.

“I am not gay.”

“You’re not?” I pulled away shocked.

“Is that a bad thing?” He raised a brow.

“No. Not at all….I just uh, forget about it.” I looked at myself in the mirror and I looked crazy. The good kind of crazy. Maybe even feral like him.

“I am a straight man who likes make-up.” He shrugged and adjusted his hair.

“And that is fucking amazing.” I punched his arm and he smiled. Mom's heels didn’t fit me so I wore my platform boots with the dress. We walked towards the main road while aimlessly chatting about everything. We passed the frog pond and I smile. And it slipped past my tongue and I told him the story of how Ronan and I used to prank each other. He laughed like hell at the story of how he put frogs in my room. And he kept snickering about it and teasing me about it even when we were in the taxi. He took me to a local bar and from the looks of it, it was pretty famous. It was packed. And it had a vibe.
