I suddenly chortled. I recalled the memories that entered my mind when I lost my consciousness earlier.
Thorns will be thorns. A pain in the ass.
Narinig kong biglang bumukas ang pinto kaya napalingon ako. She smiled gently.
I said referring to the disney princess at Stella's seventh birthday.
“I know. She became a man-hater in one snap.
Therefore, she's teaching little Stella on how to flirt with young boys?
“She told me that boys are thorns. Sabi niya at mahinang tumawa.
“Sino kayang nagturo sa kanya no'n?" I just flashed an evil smile on my face.
“It's true, all men are jerks. They're the thorns in a rose. I said in a serious tone.
“Are you saying that my husband is also a jerk?” Mahinahong sabi niya. I don't know her reaction to what I've said. Likod niya lang ang nakikita ko. I hope she didn't get offended.
“Sa 'yo galing 'yan,” I quickly defended myself. She just chortled.
“Denver is my savior. He became the light in my darkest times.”
“So, unlike you and my Stella, I don't think that men are thorns or jerks. Or maybe they're thorns? Thorns that protects the rose from animals who might be attracted to them due to their sweet fragrance. Think about it this way. At the end of the day, the thorn protects the rose.” Mahabang litanya niya.
Okay, I respect her opinion. But that doesn't change the fact that I hate men.
“Let's start!” She said all of a sudden and stood up. I think she's referring to ‘finding some things that will lead us to our father’ or something like that.
There's a part of me that wants to find our father because I have a lot of question in my mind.
Bakit nakuha niyang mangbabae?
Bakit sinaktan niya si Mommy?
Sino 'yong babaeng hinahalikan niya?
