I pulled my long hair back into a ponytail, it goes down all the way to my knees. I slipped into black leggings and a bra and sat at the foot of my bed. I thought about what I actually got myself into, just now actually processing it. I'm not scared for me, I'm scared for my family. Jenoviah is so ruthless they'd hold my entire family hostage. A war starting back at home.

I hear a knock at the door and welcome them in "Come in" I quickly pull a sweater on.

I'm met with the sexiest face to ever exist "Are you ok?"

I smile "Yes I'm fine."

"Is my palace suitable for your comfort?"

"Yes, it could use a woman's touch, though." I grin.

"Well we could always talk it over" he smiled.

"But yes, your palace is perfect."

We both laugh before he rubs the back of his neck "I'm really sorry, Elena."

I frown "For what?"

He sighs "Our species not getting along. Our families practically hate each other."

I get up and walk towards him "There is no need to apologize, this is only a little awkward because our countries and people despise each other. It isn't our fault though, just because they hate each other doesn't mean it should stop us from being excellent work partners" I say in a soft voice.

He smiles "I have a question."

"Yes?"

"Tomorrow night I'm having a grand dinner. I was wondering if you-" he looks at Artemis "and you-" he looks back at me "would like to come to dinner."

I smile "That would be splendid."

"We'll feed the pupper too!" he turns to leave.

He walks down the hallway and makes a left turn and I close the door and go to my bed to ready it for my slumber. The sheets were silk and the comforter was cotton and polyester. The bed was elegant with a white canopy over it. The sheets were red and white and the comforter was black. I rest my head into the pillows and drift to sleep. A dark and malicious sleep...

----------

I begin to see bright colors over my head. I see a flame break through the roof.

Father tries to shake me away "Elena! Wake up! The house is on fire! The end is near!"

I jumped out of bed right on time as flames spread around my bed from the ceiling fan that just crashed where I was laying "Dad what's going on?!"

"North Korea bombed us, they destroyed everything and a storm is sweeping through, it's the final days!"

I see a man come into the room "Miguel everyone is out of the house. Witches, Vampires, and Werewolves are heading to the bunker in central Africa! Go!"

Dad looks at me "Go with him, I'll stay behind to round up others!"

The man takes my wrist and throws me over his shoulders, we begin running 200mph we barely touch the water. He just runs straight across it. As we get in the bunker he places me on the ground and runs off. I try to search for him but he's long gone.

Four leaders, including my father, begin to discuss what we're going to do to save as many humans as possible.

I walk over to them and place a map on the table then clear my throat "Alright game plan is Witches gather as many from North and central America. Werewolves get South America and islands. Warlocks get Australia and Asia. Vampires get Africa and Europe."

----------

After dismissal we all managed to round up 1/3 of the human population.

The brunette guy from earlier began to speak to me "We have all 2.2 billion children and 453.3 million adults equaling ⅓ of the human population."

"Can we get more?"

"Unfortunately not. We have to go to the bunker, everything is about to collapse. Take my hand, I'll get us there quickly."

We got into the bunker before my father yelled "Close the bunker off!"

5 Werewolves move the boulder in front of the entrance. We were just seconds away from getting devoured by a bad sand storm.

"How long are we going to be down here?" I asked my father.

"Possibly a month" said King Edward.

I sigh and mumble "We don't have room for a month" while looking around the room.

I see many mothers and children...every child, mother, and pregnant women made it safely. We rescued as many fathers...as many as we could find. There's nowhere near 'a month' around us. The bunker was cold, there was dirt on the floor. It was dark, until some Witches made lights and put them up everywhere. I grabbed pillows and blankets and passed them around to everyone there. If we are going to be down here for a month we might as well get cozy to do so.
