Camille stares at a pair of 3 inch black heels for over five minutes.
"Do you want them, Camille?"
"Yes, Elena" she looks at me "Do you got $238 though?"
"Camille, don't worry about what my bank account says. I don't even spend the money I have."
"That's a shocker."
"How?"
"You care about your appearance a lot."
"Doesn't mean I have to spend $20,000 every time I leave the palace."
"Like I said, shocker."
I roll my eyes grabbing the black heels and walk over to Jackson who is checking out a new suit.
"You almost done, Jackson?" I said a lot more patiently than Camille's hormonal self could've managed.
"Yeah, I'm just looking at this wonderful Italian suit...it's stunning and suits my duty in commanding environmental well-being-"
"It's a yes or no question" I start laughing.
"Yes."
I grab the suit off the racket and walk over to Jacob "Jacob you done? We still got breakfast to catch."
"I know and yes, I'm just looking at rings."
I smile "Who's the ring for, huh?"
He smiles back "After we stop the wedding, I'm thinking of proposing to Diane at least I actually love her."
I smile "It's on me."
He laughs "Uh no, I'm getting it. It'll mean more that I'm buying it for my hopefully future fiancée."
I walk to the cashier "Hello Princess Elena."
"Hello, how is your day?"
"Oh it's going well, it's just very long for a morning."
"I can relate-" I look at my siblings and cousin.
"How is your day, your highness?"
"It was delightful until my siblings and cousin dragged me out of my bed just to go shopping at 7 in the morning" I smiled.
She starts laughing "I miss those days, every two weeks my sisters would take me out shopping until they moved to Rolumpus."
"Sadly, I still live with them. All they have to do is pick my bedroom lock and drag me out in public."
We share angelic laughs as she gives me my total "Your total is $835."
Jacob's mouth drops "Elena, do you have that type of money?"
I look at him half smiling "You're worried, why?"
"Because that's a lot of money!"
I slid my card "I'm a royal Persianian for a reason and I control the military, you do the math."
The cashier puts my items into the store bag. I've met the CEO of this company, he's a queer Witch that has created stores globally, collects the money the stores gain, and donates it all to churches, homeless shelters, and adoption centers. His name is Berry Lore, a complete fashion icon.
"Thank you" I said with a jaw dropping smile.
"You're welcome, your highness!"
"Have a good day!"
"You too!"
Camille, Jackson, Jacob, and I exit the store and go down the street to a local coffee shop. This state of Persiania's plaza is the largest plaza of our Kingdom. They can hold a total of 100,000 people. Our smallest plaza can hold around 40,000 people. Persiania's population last time I checked was 4.7 million people. 371,000 of them are Witches. 207,000 are Werewolves. 4,122,000 are human. There are no Vampires allowed past Persianian borders. The royal vampires get away with it for a majority of reasons. For some unknown reason the 3 powerful species have odd fertility rates. Witches are fairly fertile, Werewolves are very fertile, and I believe Vampires are infertile. I'm not too worried about Vampires. My concern is Witches and Werewolves because I am one! But I've always asked why? Because the immortal species population goes so slow that the earth won't need to expand until 100 billion years from now.
