After a game of chess and a bottle of wine I decided to go to the Kingstonian palace. Alistar was my first love. He's a very powerful Warlock now. After we rekindled once we grew up I decided to go back out with him. It didn't end so well. He got really abusive and started cheating on me. So I left him and moved back home. That's when I started dating Tyler.

I walked on the gravel to Kingstone's palace in my wolf form. When I got close I transformed back and showed them the royal ring to let me in.

I walked into the main room "Jacob!"

"Come to visit home I see?" he smiled.

He hugged me like a big brother, yet a cousin "C'mon, let's go to my office."

"I'm not a formal leader, I'm your cousin."

"You're not thick blood either."

"Yes I am!" I gently push his arm.

He rolled his eyes and smiled "I have a bar in there anyway."

I got excited "I need a drink!"

He opened the door "Mi casa es su casa."

I flopped on his sofa "This is the lush life."

"Your vibe is off. What's wrong?"

"I don't want to talk about it."

He grabs my face "He lied to you?"

My mouth drops "How did you know?"

He smirks "Camille told Joshua, Joshua told Diane, and Diane told me."

I frowned "Great so it's out to everyone."

"I'm sorry Elena...you didn't deserve that."

I sigh "It's whatever, I have to learn the truth sooner or later."

He sat down and handed me a glass "You agreed to go through with the wedding?"

I shrug "Yep."

"Why?"

I sigh "Cause I really don't have anything to fight for anymore."

He took a swig of his drink "Why were you with Alistar?"

I looked at him confused "What?"

"I smell Bruno on you."

I gulped "I went to ask a favor."

"Elena, you know what he's done to you! Why do you proceed to go back to him?"

"I didn't go back. I needed someone to pick me up. Besides, it's none of your business."

"Well Elena, I'm sorry to break it to you. But since you have decided to go forward with the wedding it technically is my business. At this point by going forward I am legitimately your fiancé. Plus, in werewolf culture the wife or fiancée has to answer to the husband or fiancé. Either way Elena, you kind of have to answer to me now and it is my business. I don't want you around Alistar. As long as I have say...you're not allowed to be around him. Do you not remember what he did to you? He cheated on you! And beat you! It's bad enough it took the entire pack and your coven to restrain him and shun him. Elena this is in your best interest...as your actual fiancé now, if you go against what I say-"

I roll my eyes "I know, there will be consequences. Whatever."

He observed me for a minute before jumping up and grabbing some gray joggers and one of his white t-shirts "Put this on."

I giggle "Why?"

He turned his nose up "You smell like him."

"Do you not like the smell?" I smile.
