I woke up to roses at my bedside. They were gorgeous but the fact that Arthur still won't tell me about Brianna is stressing me out to high heaven. Who is she? Is she someone I'm seriously going to have to worry about? Is Arthur going to ever tell me more about her?

Well Camille is coming to visit me today. Maybe she can take my mind off of a few things. She says she's very happy and excited to tell me good news.

I walked outside to the Red moon river to meet her yacht at the dock. It was a sunny day, 60°F which is very unusual for Rolumpus. It's been pretty sunny with me around. I see a small white yacht with the Persianian symbol of loyalty, strength, power, and love.

"Elena!"

I smile "Camille!"

She hops off the yacht and runs into my arms "My sweet sister!"

She smiles "Elena, I've missed you so much!"

We start walking towards a fancy restaurant Camille booked for us to eat at for a while. August 1st, 2025 11am-2pm. She booked us for a while and something tells me I'm about to get an earful. Camille's favorite pastime is talking.

We walk into the restaurant and we're met with Prince Joshua Aiden Robertson. A stunning tall, brown wavy hair, and green eyed Prince. Camille waltzes herself over to Joshua and plants a kiss on his lips.

We sit down to eat and lobster is brought out. My sister knows that seafood is the best thing to use to get to my heart. I love lobster, crab legs, black mussels, lobster bisque, clam chowder, everything fishy.

Camille is going on about the law I'm passing about arranged marriages and how they'll be illegal and nobody will be forced to marry anyone and she decided that her and Joshua were going to get married as soon as they can. So everything is finalized ASAP. They will have to wait till I'm Queen so I can change Persianian laws and all.

"And I definitely want you to be a bridesmaid! You can bring Arthur!"

I sigh "I'm not sure, right now"

She frowns "Uh oh, the love department is not sailing smoothly?"

I sigh "Yes, it's horrible. Before the war I heard people talk about this Brianna chick and Arthur won't tell me anything to ease my thoughts of her."

Camille frowns "Oh no!"

I take a sip of my red wine "I don't think me and him have a shot at a relationship if he's just going to continue being secretive."

Joshua took a swig of his tequila trying to mind his business as if he knew something.

"Joshua what is it?"

He chokes on his drink for a second before spacing off "There was word around the Vampire communities that Arthur and Brianna were engaged and getting ready to marry"

My heart nearly shatters because this is what Arthur has been hiding "What happened after that?"

He gulps "One day Arthur just announced there would be no wedding."

I frown "Do you think they got married in secret?"

He shrugs "I don't know for sure, but I don't doubt him."

I sigh "So I might be wanting to be with a married man?"

Camille's mouth drops "Oh my god...Elena."

I look up towards the sky holding back tears and smile "Excuse me" I run off to the bathroom and fall to the ground. I can't keep doing this to myself. I need to know if I'm dating a married man. I don't know how much longer I can go before fleeing back home. He hasn't been clear at all. If I'm having my emotions being played like a guitar then I have to leave before it gets too extreme. I walk back outside to the table acting like nothing happened.

Camille smiles nervously "Do you feel any better?"

I nod "Yes."

Joshua kisses Camille "Well, we have some good news for your poor day."

I chuckle "What is it?"

Camille leans in close and whispers "Promise not to tell dad?"

I nod "Hey, it's me, you, and Jackson against father. You got me 100%."

She smiles and hands me an envelope "Open it."

I open it and my heart flutters "Oh my gosh!"

The small card read "Congratulations! Dearest sister, you're going to be an aunt!" with a cute animated baby with a red present in its arm.

I smile "Oh my gosh! Congratulations!"

Joshua smiles "I'm a nervous train wreck."

I grab Joshua's hand "You're going to be a great father!" I look at Camille "How far along are you?"

"I'm 5 weeks."

I jumped up and hugged her "I'm going to be an aunt!!"

Joshua grins at Camille then looks at me "I'm placing bets on the gender, I think it's a boy. Want to bet against me?"

I smile "$20 it's a girl."

Camille sighs "Joshua what did I tell you about placing bets on the baby!"

I rub her shoulders "It's a little bit of fun sister."

Camille rubbed her belly "There's a little bitty being in there."

I grin at Joshua "Want to bet the species?"

He smiles "Vampire."

"$20 for Witch or Warlock."

I sat inside of the library and facetimed with Maria and sighed "I'm going to have to come back home to you soon, do you know that?"

She frowns "Why?"

"I have a wedding to prepare for and a coronation."

Her bottom lips quiver "But I thought you and daddy were going to get married?"

I bite my lip "Things happen..."

She rubbed her eyes "Can I still come to see him?"

I smile "Of course."

"I love you mom!"

I sent her an air kiss "I love you too baby."

I'd hate to have to leave and turn away from Arthur and everything we have but if he's secretly married then this may be a small issue. So no matter what I'm going to have to pry the crap out of him. I have no other choice than to prowl him about her. I have to know if I need to flee or to stay. I want to stay but if he's married I must flee and flee quickly before it's too late and I'm caught inside of a situation I don't want to be a part of.
