Adeline's POV:
I rolled over from my back on the hotel bed to my stomach grabbing my phone to see what the notification was that I had received. I felt my lips curve into a smile as I opened the text message, I'd received from Joon.
Joon [09:37 PM]
Good luck tomorrow.Me [09:38 PM]
Thanks!Joon [09:39 PM]
I miss you.Me [09:41 PM]
I miss you too. I can't wait to see you tomorrow. I feel like it has been forever since we have seen each other in person.Joon [09:42 PM]
I know. I'm sorry about that, but I can't wait to see you tomorrow either. Get some rest.Me [09:43 PM]
I will. Good night!Joon [09:44 PM]
Good night.
I rolled back over onto my back arms splayed outward from my sides. I was feeling so many different emotions at the moment which is why I still couldn't sleep. I was nervous about the concert tomorrow, but I was excited because afterwards I was going to see Joon. Plus, there was the mysterious surprise he said he had for me.
I still didn't know what the surprise was that he had planned for me tomorrow. I mean, I was excited about it, but underneath that excitement I felt a sense of foreboding. An anxiousness maybe. I honestly wasn't sure. I couldn't quite put my finger on it. I shook my head brushing it off and grabbed my phone next to my head and called Torrie.
"Hey lady, shouldn't you be asleep already?" Torrie asked upon answering.
"Yeah, I will. I just wanted to give you a quick call before I did."
"How was today? Did you figure out your shot angles and what not since the stage was completely set up?"
"Today was good. Ella and I were able to get everything worked out for our assigned sections. Actually, speaking of which, when Ella and I were getting ready to leave the stage area we ran into one of the members of BTS."
"Oh my God! Seriously! Who?" She asked excitedly.
"V, I think his name was. Yeah, yeah, it was V. You would have loved his hair. Half of his hair was pink, like bubblegum pink, and the other half was blonde."
"Let me guess Ella lost it while you didn't even react?"
"Oh yeah, Ella lost it when she looked up at the stage to see him standing there." I said laughing.
"You know that her reaction is completely normal right?" She said in a chastising tone.
"I guess. I don't know. I mean is that how people always react to them?" I asked curiously.
"Pretty much. They are celebrities after all."
"That is sad." I said frowning.
"What do you mean?" Torrie asked voice laced with confusion.
"I don't know. I just couldn't imagine having people gawk at me everywhere I went you know. I feel like it would be hard to live a normal life. You know what I mean?" I finished asking.
"Yeah, I can imagine that it would be. Unfortunately, that is the tradeoff for fame."
We both sat on the phone in silence for a minute or two before I spoke.
