I ran the stairs to my room after thanking my parents profusely. I was so happy that despite their reservations they were willing to support my decision to accept this job.

After shutting my bedroom door, I threw myself on my bed and started to hyperventilate a little bit out of sheer excitement. I calmed down enough to pull my phone out of my pocket which was buzzing like crazy through the whole conversation with my parents. I knew they were all from Torrie. I started reading them one by one.

Torrie [05:52 PM]
Good luck!

Torrie [06:13 PM]
What did they say?

Torrie [06:22 PM]
Did they agree or no?

Torrie [06:35 PM]
Adeline! Adeline!

Torrie [06:38 PM]
OMG, the suspense is killing me!

Torrie [06:42 PM]
You better call me ASAP lady!

I closed the message window and called Torrie. Torrie picked up before the first ring even finished.

"What happened? How did they take it? Are they going to let you go? Why aren't you saying anything?"

I laughed.

"I would if you would take a breather and give me time to answer even one of your questions."

"Ha-ha, so?"

"Well."

"Come on Adeline! You're killing me here!"

"They said yes!"

I could hear Torrie squealing which in turn got me to start squealing too. After we both regained our composure, the questions started back up.

"You never answered my other questions. Just tell me everything from start to finish."

I told her exactly what happened and how unsure they were of it but explained that I really wanted to take advantage of this opportunity despite having to hold off from graduating from school.

"You know, you should be thanking me for suggesting that you send in your portfolio to the Photography Agency to see if you could snag a job."

"Yeah, about that, you should probably not mention that because I left that little detail out of the conversation." I laughed.

"Hmm, okay, it will stay our secret for now." She said laughing with me.

"All right, well, I'm going to let you go. I only have till tomorrow to accept the job, so I want to get back to them now to let them know I am going to take it." I spoke.

"Fine, fine. Oh, but wait. Did you look into the group that you will be touring with yet?"

"No not yet why?"

"They are all pretty hot."

I rolled my eyes.

"Is that all you think about?"

Torrie just laughed.

"Bye you weirdo." I said as I hung up the phone.

Still excited, I turned from my stomach onto my back and rolled off of my bed. I almost hit the floor full on before catching myself with a bit of a thump. I just laughed and got up walking over to my desk which was situated to the right of my bed. I sat down in the chair that was previous tucked underneath it and pulled up the e-mail from the agency again to re-read it once more. I spotted what I was looking for at the bottom of the e-mail and preceded to dial the number that was listed on the bottom of the job proposal. A couple rings later and a Mark answered the phone.

"Hello, this is Mark. How may I help you?"

"Hi Mark, it's Adeline Pond. I spoke with you not too long ago when you reviewed my portfolio."

"Oh, Miss Pond! How are you?"

"You can call me Adeline, and I'm good."

"Okay Adeline, what can I do for you?"

"I was just calling because I received the e-mail that stated that Big Hit Entertainment wanted to hire me to be one of their Tour Photographers for their group BTS. I wanted to inform you that I was going to be accepting the job."

"Great! That is fantastic to hear. I know they were really hoping you would accept it. I will e-mail them right away to let them know that you are taking the job. I will send you a copy of the confirmation e-mail. Also, you will receive a confidentiality form that you will need to sign right away before you are sent everything regarding your job details. I will be attaching that to the e-mail as well. You need to get that back to me today."

"Confidentiality form?" I asked with uncertainty.

"It is just standard procedure when going on tour with a group. It just protects the company, group, you and so on. Now, once you sign the confidentiality form you are sworn to secrecy." Mark laughed at the last bit.

I laughed a bit nervously in response.

"All right, so once I get off the phone with you, I will get in touch with them, and we'll get everything squared away."

"Sounds great. Thanks again for the opportunity."

After saying our final good-byes, I hung up the phone with Mark, and set it on my desk.

I couldn't believe this was happening. Like, really happening I thought to myself. I never thought that I would get a job offer back so quickly and to be a Tour Photographer at that. I ran my fingers through my hair thinking once again how crazy this whole situation is.

My thoughts were eventually interrupted when I saw a new e-mail pop up in my inbox. It was from Mark which is what I expected. It had two attachments. One was the response from Big Hit Entertainment that they were happy that I had accepted the job offer and would be sending me a new hire packet containing everything I will need to know for my job and what it entails. The second one was the confidentiality form.

I printed up the confidentiality form which ended up being a total of three pages long. There were spots for my initials at the bottom of the first two pages, and a signature line on the last one. I briefly glance through it. Things like, you can not release any information such as video, audio, photos without the consent of Big Hit Entertainment before doing so, legally binding contract, invasion of privacy, etc. I ended up just initialing and signing everything. I would read it in depth later when I had more time. After I finished signing them, I uploaded the agreement to my computer, attached them to an e-mail addressed to both Mark and Big Hit Entertainment and hit send.

The moment I hit send I smiled to myself not believing that I was actually doing this. I was taking time off school for a year, travelling for the first time on my own, and starting my first professional job as a photographer. As I sat wrapped up in my thoughts, I received two more e-mails in my inbox. One from Big Hit Entertainment and the other from the Photography Agency confirming that both companies had received my confidentiality agreement.
