Chapter 46: Elevator

Jennie POV

I am at the hospital. I am walking inside the room of Irene. I always check her everyday before I go to my hospital where I am working. Her condition is already stable. She will be discharged next week. I just need to examine her brain to make sure that everything will be OK. Her family is so very thankful to me. I did not stop until I make my goals succeeded. Irene can go back now from her normal life. 

When I open the door of her room, I see a familiar face. She is talking to Irene like they are very close to each other.

Is she working here?

She is wearing the same uniform of nurses here. When she glances at me. She smiles and greets me.

S: Hello Doc. I am Seulgi, the new nurse of Ma'am Irene.

I just ignore her and talk to Irene instead.

J: Why did they hire a new nurse for you? You will be discharged next week.

I: I asked the hospital Bestie, and I think the hospital need more nurses here. Because you got irritated easily by those nurses who I had before. Remember? You've asked the hospital to fire all of them!

J: That's not my fault. They are all very incompetent.

Seulgi starts to talk to me again. She is smiling at me. She examines my face. I think she's admiring my physical features based on her expression.

S: Doc, you're very pretty.

I get surprise after she said that. Irene laughs at her bluntess.

I: Yeah, you're very pretty today Bestie. Is there any occasion? It looks like, you're going to attend an event.

J: Really? Do you think I overdo my make up and my clothes?

I: I think so. Hahaha why? What's the event?

J: Nothing.

I: Are you sure? It looks like you want to catch someone's attention.

J: Shut up!

I: Hahaha OK.

S: Do you remember me, Doc? I was with a friend of Ma'am Irene yesterday. The pretty handsome woman who tried to talk to you?

I: Really? Who is that friend of mine? Who was my visitor yesterday, Bestie?

Shit! This nurse is so talkative.

S: I think her name is Li...

Seulgi tries to answer Irene but I interrupt her.

J: No, I don't remember you Seulgi. And can you please give us a time. I need to talk to Irene.

At the hospital

Author POV

Today, Lisa is scheduled to attend the conference meeting together with other foreign doctors. They are just sitting and waiting for the arrival of the director of the hospital. Lisa is just observing and reading the agenda for the meeting.

But there is someone who is staring at Lisa. She is examining Lisa's features. And after a minute of checking Lisa, she immediately sits beside Lisa. She tries to talk to her. She waves her hand to Lisa's face and offers her hand to Lisa. 

Es: Hello, my name is Esther Yu a hermatologist.

But they are not aware that Jennie is already in the front door. She's seeing what is happening.

Esther waits for Lisa to grab her hand for a hand shake. Lisa didn't get a chance to accept Esther's hand. Because Jennie interrupts them and starts talking.
