Hours, it took hours for Chaeryeong to get herself up from the floor and drag herself to their once shared room. As she stepped inside, she looked around and it hurts her again as she saw the none of Lia's things were left in the room. Not a single thing from the older was left. What hurts her more was that it was supposed to be their anniversary tomorrow but it all went downhill.
She went on the bed, laid down and continued to cry. She only wished if she was smart she wouldn't have made Lia feel that way right?
She didn't bothered to check her phone since it was no use. She hated herself for being so stupid, for being dependent on Lia.
She was about to fall asleep not until someone knocked on the door of the condo. She sighed and forced herself to get out of bed. She slowly opened the door only to see her sister, Chaeyeon.
"Hey Ryeong! How wa-" Chaeyeon got cut off upon seeing her sister, eyes all puffy and red, she looked pale and weak.
Chaeyeon immediately dropped the bags that she was carrying. She wanted to congratulate the two for their finals.
"What happened Ryeong?! Why are you crying?" Chaeyeon asked worriedly as she cupped the younger's face.
"L-Lia...." Chaeryeong muttered
"What? what did Lia do? did she hit you? huh? tell me?" Chaeyeon asked worriedly as tears formed in her eyes. She couldn't accept to see her younger sister in pain.
"S-she... she b-broke up with me" Chaeryeong sobbed and the tears that threatened to fall started to flow down once again.
Chaeyeon looked at her sadly and hugged her sister tight. She knew how much her sister loved Lia. She always mentions Lia whenever they go out together, Lia was the one who would boost up her confidence when no one was there to do so.
"Am I stupid unnie?" Chaeryeong asked and looked at her sister. Chaeyeon was shocked from her sister's question.
"What do you mean Ryeong?" Chaeyeon asked
"L-Lia said that I was only at the top 1 rank in class because of her. If it weren't for her I wouldn't be even in that rank. Am I stupid? Am I not smart?" Chaeryeong asked Chaeyeon and it made Chaeyeon's heart broke into pieces. Never in her life she had thought of her sister that way and hearing that Lia said something to her about ranking in class made her want to regret treating Lia like her sister as well.
"You're not stupid Ryeong, you're never stupid" Chaeyeon said and wiped off the tears on Chaeryeong's cheeks.
"Stop thinking about that okay? You're smart, you're caring, you're kind and beautiful. Don't think about the things Lia told you. You don't have to believe everything she said" Chaeyeon said and hugged Chaeryeong once again.
Chaeyeon sighed, this was one of the days that she would hate. Seeing her sister get broken from a break up. Chaeryeong was fragile, everyone who was close with them knows that. It would take a long time for Chaeryeong to fix herself up.
Chaeyeon brought Chaeryeong to her room first and let her take a quick nap. As Chaeryeong was sleeping, Chaeyeon cooked something that would make Chaeryeong better. Of course, their mom's tteokboki, it would always cheer Chaeryeong up since it was her favorite.
As Chaeyeon did that, she also called for some of her friends if they have time later to at least spend the night with Ryeong.
There was a knock on the door and Chaeyeon then opened it up. It was Yeji, Yuna, Yena, Yuri, Eunbi, Hyewon and even Nayeon, Jeongyeon and Jihyo who were Chaeryeong's favorite seniors in school.
"Thanks for coming everyone, Chaeryeong really needs some people with her at the moment. We can all surprise her when she wakes up" Chaeyeon said and they nodded
"I'll help you cook unnie" Yuna said and Chaeyeon nodded with a smile
While the girls watch some tv and Chaeyeon and Yuna cooking, Chaeryeong suddenly woke up from her nap. She rubbed her eyes and sighed, she wished it was all just a dream but then noticed all the empty spaces in the room. It was used to be filled with her and Lia's stuff but now, only her stuff was there.
"She really broke up with me...." Chaeryeong muttered softly as a tear drop from her face. She got off the bed and went to the bathroom to freshen herself up, maybe it would be better right?
As she finished washing up and drying her face, she went out of the room but then was shocked to see her unnies there
"Unnies?" Chaeryeong asked in confusion. They all look at her but trying to hide their sad expression. Chaeryeong really look broken, she was even wearing just an oversize shirt and pajamas.
"Hey Chaery, I invited some of them over. It's fine with you right" Chaeyeon asked as she walks towards her sister. Chaeryeong then take a look at them once again and she saw them smiling softly at her.
"Y-yeah.... it's fine. Thank you unnie" Chaeryeong said and hugged her sister
"Okay, you can join them watch some movies while me and Yuna finish cooking okay?" Chaeyeon said and Chaeryeong nodded with a smile.
She went towards the other girls and sat beside Nayeon, her favorite senior in school. They were quite close considering that Nayeon would always hang out with the younger. They would also have dance classes together.
"I haven't seen you for a long time our baby dancer, we missed you" Nayeon said cutely and hugged the younger beside her
"I missed you unnies too" Chaeryeong said and chuckled
That night, they stayed with Chaeryeong and had a movie night for her to not focus about her and Lia's breakup
