Lia's POV

I hurriedly went out of my office, leaving Hiyyih there. I went to the elevator as soon as possible, not minding some of the employees calling me. I reached the ground floor and I ran going towards the exit of the company building, I didn't want her to go home alone.

As soon as I spotted her near the bus stop, I ran up to her

"Chaery!" I called and she immediately turned around and looked at me, I was panting heavily and quite tired of the running.

"Oh... I thought you were busy" she said to me shyly, not looking at me.

"Why didn't you tell Hiyyih that it was you?" I asked her

"You were busy, I didn't want to bother you and your work" she said to me

"You'll never be a bother to me Chaeryeong, you went all the way here just to see me and you won't force yourself to be able to go in my office?" I asked her and I could see that she was a little bit sad because of my tone of voice

"I didn't want to waste your time, it seems like you were busy when Hiyyih told me that if I could just come over next time" she said and it made me sigh.

"You're not a waste of my time Chaeryeong. Come on, you can stay inside my office, I don't want to let you go home on your own" I said as I gently reached out for her hand, good thing she held mine without any hesitations. We walked back inside the company and a lot of the employees were looking at us so I held Chaeryeong closer to me.

"They're all looking at us Lia" I heard Chaeryeong say

"Don't mind them" I said to her as we got in the elevator

Going off to the designated floor, we both walked towards my office. Luckily Hiyyih wasn't around anymore so me and Chaeryeong could have some privacy.

"Want anything to drink? I can request something from downstairs if you want" I said to her but she shook her head

"What's your work?" she suddenly asked me. I was afraid to tell her, my work right now was close to one of her dream jobs. I didn't want her to lose confidence again.

"Um... for café's, My company is on café's" I said to her and I could see the slight disappointment in her face, She always dreamed of being a café owner, she wanted it so badly. She always baked some pastries for me when we were together before.

"Oh.... well that's quite amusing" she said and then sat down on the couch I had in my office.

"You can go and continue your work, I'll just stay here for a while" she said and I nodded. I went back to my desk and sat down, I continued to work as I glance at her from time to time just to make sure she was comfortable here.

I was finally done with work but I wondered why Chaeryeong has been so quiet. I shut down my desktop and then fixed my things, I glance outside of the window and saw that it was already dark, probably already 7 in the evening. Won't her parents get mad that she comes home late?

When I averted my eyes on the couch, I saw her already sleeping as she was lying down. It made me smile a little, I miss seeing her like this, she would always wait up on me and fall asleep. I walked towards her to caress her hair and admire her beautiful face but when my hand was able to touch her forehead, my smile disappeared. I suddenly got worried, she was heating up. Quickly, I checked her forehead for the second time just to be sure but she really was heating up.

"Chaeryeong?" I tried to wake her up gently

"Chaery?" I called once again but she only hummed. I got so worried already so I called the doctor from the hospital, yes I asked for the doctor's number just in case.
