Lia's POV

"Who told you that you can go back to Korea?" I heard and my eyes widened in horror

"I... uh..."

"Don't tell me you're getting back with that ex girlfriend of yours" Mom said in anger

"But mo-"

"No buts. You're finally doing better here, you're the Top student in the class and your whole batch so why do you want to go back there?" mom asked me and I gulped. She was right, I was finally consecutively on the Top of my class and whole batch. Was that all really worth it?

"I expect you to be studying when I get back. You're going nowhere young lady" mom said and went back downstairs as she left my room

I started thinking, was this all I wanted. I did said that I wanted to study here in the US. As I was about to continue to study, my phone rang and I was surprised to see it was Yuna. Yuna was the one who usually goes with me and Chaeryeong before. If I could say, she basically knows how me and Chaeryeong met and how we become together.

"U-unnie" I could hear her sob from the other line

"Oh hi Yuna" I said, I know she was crying because of what happened

"Can't you come here? Chaeryeong unnie needs you please. Just go here and at least check on her unnie"

"I'm sorry Yuna but I can't, you know how my parents are"

"Does that even matter to you? do you choose your parents decisions over your decisions?!" its my first time to hear her raise her voice on me

"Yuna..."

"No, don't be like that unnie. You're so selfish! I thought you love Chaeryeong unnie, I thought you promised that you'll stay with each other for a long time"

"Yuna, you know why I had to leave"

"Because you were so selfish!!!"

"Yuna please, don't sho-"

"Don't tell me what I have to do unnie! I hate what you've done to Chaeryeong unnie! I know you wanted to study in the US but do you think that breaking up with her will make everything better?! It's just gotten worse. Every single day I see Chaeryeong unnie being too hard on herself. Forcing herself to study even though it makes her have a headache"

"I know Yuna, I'm very sorry"

"Don't you care for Chaeryeong unnie anymore? after everything two have done together?" she said and I could hear her crying once again

"Tell me unnie, you're finally the top student in your class right?"

"Y-yeah"

"Well good for you but let me ask you.... are you happy?"

"Are you happy that you finally get the Top place all for your own? Does it feel great for you to be there in the US?

I couldn't answer her question, I couldn't say I was happy because I'm definitely not

"As I thought, you keep quiet. Anyways, I'll probably won't talk to you anymore. Bye unnie, I hope you feel happy that you're in the US"

After that, I thought she would end the call but all I could hear was crying.

"Hey Lia, it's Yeji. I'm sorry if Yuna yelled at you. She's just too fragile at the moment."

"I understand, I actually deserve her scolding"

"Yeah but, we really hope you could at least go here to check on Ryeong. I'm sure she'll be happy to know that you visited"

"I hope I can as well, I was planning to go back there but mom found out. I'll find a way"

"Okay, well I'm sorry again, on behalf of Yuna. Bye"

We ended the call and I quickly went back to studying first before mom comes back into my room.

Yeji's POV

"Yuna stop crying now" I tried to calm my girlfriend down but she just can't

"I hate Lia unnie... I hate her" Yuna sobbed into my arms and I sighed. She used to love both Chaeryeong and Lia so much to the point that she sees them as her sisters but I guess Lia breaking up with Chaeryeong just made her think about Lia differently. I can't blame Yuna for hating on Lia, Lia was actually wrong for just leaving Chaeryeong just for her to study in the US. They could've talked it out together so that they don't need to break up but I'm sure it was Lia's parents fault.

"Baby, you should stop crying already, Chaeyeon unnie might see you crying and get even worried" I told her and caressed her back

"I.... I just miss Chaeryeong unnie already. She hasn't wake up and what if she doesn't anymore? What will happen to unnie?" She asked me and started crying again. I couldn't cry, I don't want to let Yuna see that I'm crying because I know she'll need me when she does, I miss Chaeryeong as well, she was so caring to all of us and seeing her in a state like this just hurts.

"Don't worry, she'll be better soon" I reassured her.

After a while she had fallen asleep as we sat here on the couch where Chaeryeong's ward was at. I was just waiting for Ryujin and Minji to come over, I was expecting a call from them but then my phone rang. I thought it was Ryujin but it wasn't

"I'm going back to Korea Yeji" Lia said on the phone and my eyes widened
