Chaeryeong's POV

She's back... she's back here as if our break up never happened. I still remembered that day, I was so weak and vulnerable. How could she just come back here all of the sudden?

Flashback....

Chaeryeong hurriedly went to her and Lia's condo, excited to see the older. She went up to their room and pressed in the passcode. As soon as she opened the door she saw Lia. She didn't hesitate to run to the older and give her a hug.

"Baby!" Chaeryeong squealed and hugged the older tightly.

"I missed you" Chaeryeong said and pouted but then Lia moved her away from her.

"Umm yeah, we need to talk" Lia said and Chaeryeong furrowed her eyebrows

"Talk about what?" Chaeryeong asked but then she noticed the luggages in the living room.

"You're leaving? where to?" Chaeryeong asked

"I need to go to the US now Chaeryeong" Lia said and Chaeryeong's heart felt pain when she heard the older calling her by her name, not her nickname.

"W- How? I thought you didn't want to go? you told me that you won't leave me" Chaeryeong said, her lips trembling as tears threatened to fall to her cheeks.

"I want to go Chaeryeong, it's always been my dream. That's why I wanted to tell you that we should stop this. Let's get it over so that both of us can reach our dreams, our goals" Lia said and Chaeryeong felt a little bid mad.

"Both of us? you're only thinking for yourself Lia, you think that's what I wanted? what I want in my life? My only dream in my life is to grow up and be with you. Both of us having successful jobs and living together. That's what I want Lia"

"Then I don't want that. I want to continue to study in the US, I want to live there" Lia said

"Then who will teach me when I don't understand anything? Who'll be the one to support me and cheer me up when I feel down? you know you're the only one who could do that" Chaeryeong said, tears already falling to her cheeks. Lia sighed heavily, as if she was annoyed.

"That's what's wrong with you Chaeryeong. You always need help from others. You never help yourself. Mom and dad were right, I'm just wasting my time on you. If it weren't for me you wouldn't be ranked 1 in class anyways. You only got that rank because I taught you every lesson. Because of me you reached the rank that I should be only having" Lia said and Chaeryeong thought that Lia was being so selfish.

"It's time for you to help yourself Chaeryeong, not everyone would even be kind enough to help you" Lia said, just watching as the younger cries.

End of Flashback....

All the things she said, it hurt me a lot but even though she said those things, I don't know why I still think of her, why I want to see her but just not this soon....

"Hey, you've been so quiet" I heard and turned my head to see Chaeyeon unnie looking at me worriedly

"It's nothing" I said and sighed

"You sighing like that isn't nothing. Is it about Lia?" she asked me and I kept mum, of course it was about Lia, what else could it be anyways.

"You know you can tell me anything Ryeong, we've been telling each other our problems ever since" she said and it made me look at her.

"It's just too overwhelming for her to go here all of the sudden" I said to her

"I know that but she wanted to see you Ryeong, she had a reason to come back here too sudden" Chaeyeon unnie told me

"To what? why would she be here to see me? to show me that she's living better without me? I've been suffering for a long time already unnie, you out of most people know that. It was hard for me ever since the day she broke up with me and never did I stop thinking if she was okay in the US" I said and tears were now falling down to my cheeks

"Hey..." Chaeyeon unnie said as she tries to calm me down by hugging me and caressing my back.

"I... I don't want to be so weak anymore unnie." I said to her

"You're not weak Ryeong, it's just that all of us have some challenges to face and it's completely normal" she said and I looked at her

"You know you can't stop Lia from trying to visit you here, but we can limit it if you want to" she said to me which made me confused

"How?" I asked her

"Of course, she has to ask permission first if you'll allow her to visit you for the day. That's all you have to do so that you don't have to see her a lot if that'll make you better" she said and I nodded

She was about to tell me something again but then we heard a knock on the door

"I'll go get that" she said and I nodded once again

"You really want to go there?" Yeji asked Lia

"Of course I do Yeji, I want to check on her" Lia said and sighed, a small paper bag in her hand with the snacks that Chaeryeong loves.

"Fine, but I'll warn you right now, she may not let you inside today" Yeji said and Lia just nodded. She knows that Chaeryeong mag not want to see her but she really didn't care, she just wanted to check if Chaeryeong was doing fine and if she was eating properly.

Yeji drove them off to the hospital and then both of them went up to Chaeryeong's room. Yeji knocked on the door and it was opened by Chaeyeon.

"Oh Yeji, and...." Chaeyeon cut off her sentence first so that Chaeryeong doesn't hear it. She then goes out of the room and closed the door

"Yeji and Lia, why are you two here?" Chaeyeon asked

"Hi Chaeyeon, well Lia just wanted to check on Chaer and she wanted to give something" Yeji said

"Here, I'm not sure if she wants to see me but at least give these to her" Lia said and handed Chaeyeon the small paper bag.

"What are these?" Chaeyeon asked in curiosity

"Some snacks that Chaeryeong could have from time to time" Lia said

"Oh... well thank you Lia, I'll give these to her" Chaeyeon said and Lia nodded with a smile

"May I ask something?" Lia asked

"Sure, what is it?" Chaeyeon asked

"How long will Chaeryeong be staying here in the hospital?" Lia asked, hoping that the younger gets better soon

"We're not yet sure, the doctor said it would take a while and she has a wound on the side of her arm and leg so I guess it would take a little bit long" Chaeyeon said and Lia nodded

"Thank you for telling me, I hole she gets better soon. Thank you Chaeyeon" Lia said and bowed, Yeji bid Chaeyeon goodbye as well and went off with Lia.

Chaeyeon's POV

"Who was it unnie? and what's that?" Chaeryeong asked as I got inside once again. I guess I shouldn't tell her who was it from first but then, I want Chaeryeong to know that Lia still cares for her

"It was Lia.." I said and sat at the edge of the bed

"Really?"

"Mhm, she wanted to give this to you butt she was afraid to go in since she wasn't sure  if you wanted to see her" I told her and she nodded. I then handed the small paper bag to her and she immediately checked what was inside.

"Strawberry Mallows?" she asked in confusion but then immediately opened it and took a marshmallow to eat.

"It's delicious...." she said as if she was remembering something

"What else is in there?" I asked her

"Well, there's chocolates and then yogurt" she said and I nodded. It were all Chaeryeong's favorites and I guess Lia always remember those.

"I'm sure Lia really knows what you like" I said

"Yeah..." she said and continued eating the mallows.
