Training

A couple weeks later we were back at the compound and Clint was watching the kids and teaching them archery. Steve and I were getting changed to go work out when he walked up behind me and wrapped his arms around my midsection and I smiled.

"Yes?" I asked and he started kissing my exposed neck. I moaned and Steve nipped at my neck.

"What do you say we work out in the bed instead of in the gym? I mean best cardio workout ever can be done in the bed." Chris said his lips never leaving my neck. I sighed and got out of his hold.

"We have done enough of that cardio for the past 3 days. I need to get ready for training and get back into fighting shape. I mean the whole being dead thing plays hell on the muscles." I said with a laugh and Steve groaned.

"Can we stop with the dead jokes?" Steve asked as we left the room and I shook my head.

"Why should I?" I asked and he just groaned as Bucky came walking by us.

"Why does Steve look like he did when I made him ride the cyclone in coney island when he got sick?" Bucky asked and Steve groaned even louder and I laughed knowing the story.

"Because I made a being dead joke." I said and Bucky laughed.

"Which was?" Bucky asked.

"I said I needed to get back into fighting shape because being dead played hell on the muscles." I said and Bucky laughed and looked at Steve as we reached the gym.

"You need to lighten up Steve. She is here, I'm here, we are all back. Your kids have their parents together again. All is right in the world." Bucky said putting his arm around my shoulder and I smiled at Steve as I took a hold of his hand.

"Lighten up...iceman." I said and Steve groaned with a smile.

"Is that coming back again?" Steve asked remembering when I called him when we first met.

"It will if you don't relax." I said and he smiled. We walked fully into the gym and I sighed.

"What do you want to do first? Punching bag?" Steve asked and I nodded as we walked over to the bag and he taped up my hands. He held the bag for me as I started punched and he smiled knowing I hadn't lost it at all. I started punching harder and harder having flashbacks of dying, the girl kissing Steve when I came back to the compound. I didn't stop until I heard Steve grunt.

"Okay Andie, calm down..." Steve said and he was rotating his shoulder and I sighed.

"Sorry..." I said and he walked up to me and he saw the rage and darkness in my eyes.

"What's wrong?" Steve asked.

"Pent up rage I guess." I said and tried calming myself and he gave me a small kiss and I smiled at him.

"Hey, this is going to be dumb since I see the pent-up rage but do you want to spar? A bag is once thing but you need a moving target." Steve said and I nodded as we headed into the ring and Bucky followed us over. Once in the ring I looked at Steve.

"Don't take it easy on me..." I said and he sighed.

"I have to, you don't heal like I do." Steve said and I groaned.

"Don't remind me..." I said knowing if I did heal like Steve I possibly wouldn't have died. He sighed knowing what I was thinking about.

"It would have happened wither way Andie, you had so much damage to your body." Steve said and I just shook my head.

"Let's just go." I said and Steve nodded. Bucky yelled go and we started going after each other. I wasn't even paying attention when Clint brought the kids into the gym.

"Are mom and dad okay?!" Connor asked concerned.

"Oh yeah buddy, your mom was just offered a job by Nick and she needs to get back in shape and your dad is helping her." Bucky said smiling at Connor.

"Is she going to be an avenger again?" Clara asked a little upset.

"No, she is going to be a trainer of shield agents." Clint answered. They watched as Steve picked me up in a hold and I got out of his hold by kicking him in the shin.

"Hey Connor, I'll bet you dishes for a week that mom beats dad." Clara said and Connor laughed.

"No way! I'm picking mom too!" Connor said and I heard them and smiled at Steve.

"They like me more than you." I said in a singsong voice. He smiled and rolled his eyes.

"Don't get cocky Mrs. Rogers..." Steve said and I glared at him.

"Give me all you got Captain." I said and he charged me and I moved out of the way, grabbed his arm, yanked him to the ground and pinned him by sitting on top of his, straddling min locked his legs in mine and pinning his arms. Connor and Clara started cheering while Bucky and Clint laughed but clapped.

"Give up?" I asked Steve and he nodded. Clint and Bucky walked away with the kids and I looked back at Steve and he smiled as he bucked his hips and I gave a small moan.

"Easy Captain..." I said and Steve laughed as I leaned down and gave him a small kiss. I didn't get off of him right away and he moaned.

"Can I get up please?" Steve asked and I sighed but got off him and then helped him up.

"Mom! Can you spare with me?" Connor asked and I sighed and smiled.

"Of course! Come on!" I said and Steve smiled knowing I would take it each on the kids.

"Me too?!" Clara asked excited and I nodded.

"Heck yeah! double team me!" I said and they smiled. Once we started sparing I played it off as I was trying but I let them both take me down and pin me.

"Steve...our kids could take me out and you can't...that might be a problem." I said and the kids laughed.

"If they can take you out, I don't know if I want you running my training program." Nick said walking in the room and I laughed and he smiled.

"Hey Fury...we have a meeting?" I asked and he sighed.

"Some of the new recruits were here and I was going to introduce you." Nick said and I nodded as I got up and the kids went off to the side to stand with Steve and Bucky. I just leaned on the boxing ring ropes and Nick sighed.

"Come out of the ring and don't be a hard ass." Nick said, I smiled and got out. A group of 5 recruits came walking in 2 girls and 3 guys.

"Recruits this is Agent Rogers. She will be you combat trainer." Nick said and I noticed the one girl and turned to look at Steve and he sighed. They went down the line introducing themselves, we finally got to the end of the line.

"Abagail Carter." She said and I looked at her and then at Nick.

"Sharon's cousin..." Nick said and I turned to look at Steve shaking my head knowing her heard her name. This was the girl Steve had been sleeping with and who kissed him when he brought me back to the compound.
