I had been at the cabin about 4 days and Tony's wife Pepper had brought me a whole bunch of clothes and I got to meet Morgan, Tony's daughter....or his mini-me for sure. Pepper also brought me a cellphone that had Tony, Steve, Nat and Clints numbers programmed in it. I was informed they all had been given my number. I was sitting on the porch reading a book when I saw a car pull up next to the one of Tony's I was using. I saw the driver step out and I half smiled.
"Welcome back to land of the living." I said and she huffed a laugh.
"You were gone a lot longer than I was." Nat said and I nodded.
"Right...but no one looked at you like you were a ghost and didn't belong." I said and she sighed and sat next to me. I instantly put my head on her shoulder like old times. I took a shaky breath, she kissed the top of my head.
"You know he still loves you, he never stopped." Nat said and I shook my head.
"He has an awesome way of showing it." I said and she sighed.
"He was shocked Andie..." Nat trailed off.
"And I wasn't?! Nat I no clue what was happening! He didn't exactly break the news to me easily that it had been 9 years. He yelled it at me." I said and she groaned.
"Okay maybe he didn't go about it the right way...." Nat said and I huffed a laugh.
"Is there a right way?" I asked and she shook her head.
"Probably not but we all know Steve doesn't think sometimes." Nat said and I nodded.
"Yeah, I know..." I said she sighed. I felt some tears fall.
"I miss him. I miss the kids. I know we have a lot to catch up on, but I really want to try." I said and she smiled.
"Have you told him this?" Nat asked.
"I have, he won't answer me. I have left messages. I'm thinking I just need to give up and start a new life somewhere. Ask Tony about a new identity and go from there." I said and Nat sighed.
"You think that's the best?" Nat asked and I shrugged.
"I don't know what else to do. If I can't have Steve and my family back...why stay? If I go into the city I take a chance of running into him and the kids and that wouldn't go over well." I said and Nat sighed.
"Just really think about this before you make any drastic changes, okay?" Nat asked and I nodded.
"Hey, has Clint told Laura?" I asked lifting my head from her shoulder.
"He has, she wasn't fully understanding how it happened but that's one of the main reasons I'm here is to tell you that Laura and Clint will be here tomorrow. They aren't bringing the kids yet, a lot for them to process." Nat said and I nodded.
"I just want to see people before I talk to Tony about leaving." I said and Nat sighed.
"Will you tell anyone where you go?" Nat asked and I shook my head.
"No, new life, no connections." I said and she sighed.

*****NAT POV*****
I walked into the compound pissed off.
"Where's Steve?" I asked walking in and not seeing him right away.
"Upstairs with the kids doing homework." Tony said and I stormed up the stairs and walked into the office that made like a school room for the kids. I smiled seeing them working and Steve helping Connor with something.
